  10. Welcome aboard! cant say much for the pete (just kidding) but there is no better moving van then a Kentucky. I noticed you used the expression "just off the deck" moving and storage background? just curious as i spent 22 years leased to Atlas Van Lines, doing both HHG's and electronics,be nice to have another "bedbugger" to shoot the shit with!...............................Mark
  11. I agree, pains me to see guys with "trailer queens" that NEVER get driven! one of the reasons i quit going to car shows,if you only back it off a trailer once a month, wipe it down with a diaper, what fun or use is it? i understand the rarity/value of certain cars, but still think they should be driven! i can remember the sound of a big block Chevy with solid lifters, the freewheelin' Mopar starters, even the sound of a smallblock Mustang like it was yesterday! DRIVE EM' is all i'm sayin'!...........................Mark
  12. I took typing when in school also, failed miserably! at present i can type approx. 30 words per hour, and have to look at the keyboard to do so,the only key i know for sure without looking is the "space" bar.................................Mark
  13. A friend of mine in high school had the good fortune to puchase a wrecked 69 roadrunner with a good drivetrain ( 383/4 speed),and a nice 69 superbee with blown motor, bad trans. (also 383/4 speed) as a pair,i did the swap over a weekend, the car ran great! only superbee i ever saw that was factory triple black with a white tailstripe. Also had the enormous hurst shifter, though not a pistolgrip. Dumbass traded it for a wore out SS el-camino even up,the kid that bought the superbee wrapped it around a tree a few months after buying it! too much car for a 17 year old i suspect!.....................Mark
  14. The one i've seen is also silver, but with a purple, yellow, and hot pink stripe kit, blacked out hood, grille etc. i seem to remember seeing ads with that paint scheme in the car magazines of the day, this one still wears "ET" style aluminum slot wheels, something i also have'nt seen in years......................Mark
  15. My appologies, never been a "mopar man" (god forbid) but the Challenger,Cuda,69 super bee's were some damn nice cars! (if you like that sort of thing) my alltime favorites/dream cars would be 1967 GTO,70/71 GS Stage1 Buick,67/68 RS/SS Camaro..............kinda like the looks of the 67 Mustang fastback as well...............Mark
  16. Tom,you an me must be cut from the same cloth! thought i was the only person who ever heard of Coleman Wilson,i got a great CD a few years back, "Truck drivers boogie?" has almost all the great truckin' songs on it,Passing Zone Blues" is one of them. Like Susanna Hoffs too! seen her lately? she STILL looks good!.............................Mark
  17. I was thinking single-action Ruger myself.........................Mark
  18. Take it from the voice of experience,it ain't easy!!!!!!!!LOL!!!...............................Mark
  19. Rob,there is a party around here who still has a pinto "sedan delivery" like a small station wagon, has an oval shaped porthole in the back on both sides, pretty nice shape other than the usual rocker rust,a real "shaggin'wagon" LOL! whens the last time you saw one?.......................Mark
  20. I agree,i'm not "in love" with it myself, but this one looks better than some of them i've seen, far as paint finished, fit etc........................................Mark
  21. Found this over at Hank's,usually don't to care too much for this "upgrade" but this one does'nt look all that bad.............................Mark
  22. Autocar/wrecker...........kinda like peanut butter and jelly, they just go together!........................Mark
  23. It's generally agreed,MOST music from the eighties sucks! despite being born and raised in Jersey,we listened to a lot of country music,my dad was a product of the "honky tonk" era,so it was Webb Pierce,Hank Snow,Waylon Jennings etc. my grandad was a big fan of the "Chairman of the board" (Sinatra) so i was blessed with a pretty ecclectic taste in music! does'nt get any better then hearing Springsteen do "Jersey Girl" live, seen the guy like 10 times now!.............................Mark
  24. Gotta agree Ernie! wife and i both love the boss! you're right, wish he would just go ahead and do what he does best! gotta admit though, not real crazy about some of his newer stuff.......................................Mark
  25. Always wanted a GTO,closest i came was a 67 Lemans with a GTO front clip and drive train that i bought in a junkyard (remember those days?) i sold the whole mess to a buddy of mine, for $800.00 (downpayment on my pickup) sure wish i had kept it now. I remember there was a 66/67 convertible for sale in the same wrecking yard at the time, that only needed a right quarter panel and back bumper, wheel and tire for $1000.00 bucks! try finding one of those deals now!...................................Mark
