  1. 9 out of 10 people agree,boobage is a good thing!.......................................Mark
  2. Well things like this DO happen, and i'm sure as Rob was, given the right circumstances,he would have made it "right" but after showing her ass, yelling, wrecking her car etc, i'da told the bitch to go shit in her hat and send her on her way too!..........................Mark
  3. Vin,as you get older just remember to try and NOT guess a womans age wrong, even if she looks 75,best guess around 39 it will do you good, and may thank me later on!...............Mark
  4. Best of luck in the new endeavor! i have no car hauling experience either, and have never considered hauling cars (in an open trailer anyway) but seems to me as stated, damage is your biggest concern, and i see and awful lot of car haulers tied up at the scales too,so i guess you need to worry about what to load where (weightwise) as well. I know there is still money to be made in the enclosed/specialized end of the business, but its a tough racket to get into. I do know Frank Malatesta (Horseless Carriage) is a GO-Zillionaire to quote Forrest Gump!....................Mark
  5. Always frosts me to see someone spend all this time, effort and money on what should be (and could be) a first class restoration, and then overlook the small details, like the rusty, pitted gauge bezels, rats nest of wires under the dash............but,the truck is from Jersey,so thats gotta count for something!.........Mark
  6. Must be on the same page,as boobage is normally always the FIRST thing on my mind as well!............................Mark
  7. I thought that WAS a man with a hippie haircut when i first seen the picture............................Mark
  8. Best wishes for a happy (belated) birthday!............................................Mark
  9. Pretty sure ErnieDS (BULLHUSK) went to look at this, dont remember what the problem was, pretty sure Ernie said something was "hinkey" about the deal?............................Mark
  10. Always liked the ornate grille guards on the older Brockways..........................Mark
  11. Gotta agree with that statement!...............................Mark
  12. I have been a member of ATHS almost since its insception, and when i became comfortable enough to find my way around on a computer,i posted a request for some info on a specific Mack that i was trying to find out about (Bob Ecksteins RL-700) basically got no replies,no help whatsoever, which is what lead me to this site. I never really felt welcome as i do on here either. I mean Mack always makes a good showing in the magazine, but it seems there are those who don't want to hear about another "damn Mack" on the forums. I voiced my opinion on such, the posts that i made were edited, then deleteted,so i have'nt been back since! I do enjoy the print magazine, and still believe in the organization as a whole, not many others with such a vested interest in preserving truckings history. I hope whatever is wrong gets worked out!........................Mark
  13. Now everybody should'nt be so hard on Ol' Randyp! it takes a good deal of time and effort to find and train the right operator for heavy equipment,he's prolly just puttin in some extra time just to make sure the new employee has the hang of things (Caterpiller wise)..............................Mark
  14. GEEZ! never thought we'd have to instittute a "don't ask, don't tell" policy here on BMT! LOL!....................................Mark
  15. LOOKS GAY?.................WWWHHHHEEEE!!!!
  16. I guess i'm jaded, but my remedy has always been NOT to flatbed,NOT to carry Haz-Mat,NOT to pull a tanker,NOT to haul livestock,NOT to pull doubles,NOT to fool with overwidth/oversize loads, course' i WAS a household goods mover for over 20 years, that act in-itself sometimes brings my sanity into question by other drivers..............Mark
  17. Kinda like, look, look!!!! theres a plane stuck in the mud!................................................Mark

  21. Best of luck! Contemplating some sort of change jobwise myself, though not entirely my doing!....................................Mark
  22. I am glad Paul posted this,i remember those days well! i do feel sorry for todays kids for missing a great time to grow up. We had chores to do before and after school before we were cut loose to play, there is always something to do on a fruit farm! i was spotting trailers in my grandads B-model by the time i was nine, bought my own bike (a schwinn stingray) with my own money,(and a little help from mom's S&H greenstamps) prolly put 100,000 miles on that bike, never had training wheels or a helmet. Hottest deal at school was trading the latest Hotwheels or Johhny Lightning cars. We very rarely ever stayed indoors, winter, spring, summer or fall. did'nt need our daily "activities" planned for us,no such thing as a "playdate" only TV we really watched was on saturday night,Gunsmoke,Rat Patrol,Combat etc. never really had any problem figuering who the "bad guy" was! we had neigbors we knew would help us if we needed them, you could count on a cop, fireman etc.if you were lost or hurt. Personally,i never got a "time out" either, did something wrong, usually got a warning first, then "wait till your father comes home off the truck" (he always remembered) rarely did it again! boys played with Tonka trucks,Buddy L's,Guns, army men, usually had a dog around, ate candy, drank soda etc. with no allergies, morbid obesesity,ADD,ADHD,hypertension etc. what happened?......................................Mark
  23. LMAO!................crossed my mind too!
