  1. The emblem on a REAL truck cannot be confused with anything else! i could be wrong, but i thought dodges were mainly marketed towards women anyway?..............................Mark
  2. Told the Mrs. i wanted to hire a live-in housekeeper to help her with the day to day chores as i'm on the road all week, and she works primarily at night. I interviewed many prospects, with great experience, good references, their own supplies etc.for $100.00 per week (picture one) but settled for a 22 year old foreign exchange student with no work experience, does not speak english, clean what? does not like children etc. for $1000.00 a week! (i chose number two).........................And then the fight started!.............Mark
  3. Best i could come up with on short notice! but you get the idea!..............................Mark
  4. Or this one?...................................saw this when i was a kid,immeadieately wanted a W-series Ford! (young and dumb LOL!)........................................Mark
  5. They drive by night is a classic! how many have ever seen "theives highway"? it also has some classic trucks in it,an AB series Mack (gets wrecked) and a ex-military Studebaker..............Mark
  6. I woulda thought a new truck built in bombay would have looked more like this, but what do i know?....................................Mark
  7. MB's are (were) damn good trucks,i drove an MB straight truck for APA trucking early on,before they went under, only thing it was missing for the city was power steering! hard to put a legit price on something like this (in my opinion) as there is not all that much interest in MB's even from Mack enthusiasts. When i was a kid, thats all you saw in local/city delivery trucks on the east coast,i've often wondered where they all went! just a stab in the dark, but personally were this truck mine, and i had to sell it,i think i'd start somewhere in the $1200.00 area........................................Mark
  8. Not my style either,i prefer the "classic" look in a truck, way too much bs on this one for me,but like Rob,i do appreacieate the paintwork, takes some talent to paint "trueflames"....and just an observation, but the things on the bumper look like mirror support brackets to me.......................Mark
  9. Deadhead miles is definately a strange movie! i posted a clip of it some time ago, part when he knocks the truck out of gear coming down Adolph Sutro pass, the look on that guys face is priceless!...............Mark
  10. Great news Trent! congrats are in order! smartest thing i ever did was marrying my wife, dont believe anyone else would put up with me! going on 20 years now,and never a bad word between us,best wishes!....................................Mark
  11. Those are actually the real emblems sewn into the head-rest if you look carefully, cant imagine that being too comfortable on the head!.....................................Mark
  12. Me too! not sure where (or if) i'm going anywhere!..................................Mark
  13. Good cars! my late uncle had one (diesel rabbit) tried to sell it to me,but i passed cause i thought it was too small, kinda wish i hada bought it now,he was getting 50/60 mpg (was a stick shift)but, you know what they say about hindsight!................Mark

  20. Happy New Year! best wishes for a safe holiday to all!............................................Mark
  21. Superdog is correct, beat me to the punch! i too believe this was only used on the western Cruiseliner series trucks,it was located in the center of the grille,i believe an emblem like this should realize $40.00/$50.00 to the right collector, would'nt mind having it myself actually!....................................Mark
  22. It is a nice truck, personally,i've never been a big fan of the B-73/75 with the flagship b-series cab,i do however REALLY like the same series with the optional "L" series cab........much better looking truck in my opinion..............................Mark
