  1. TRIED being the operative word!...................Mark
  2. I agree with superdog, buy the truck, scrap the trailer! the B-73/75 series with the optional "L" series cabs are very desireable in Mack circles, and being in a dry area, should be a fairly easy restoration if thats the way you're headed with it....................Mark
  3. I never liked those marker lights, always thought they looked kinda' "chintzy" their very similar to the ones used on the fenders of early W-model kenworths................Mark
  4. I once had a woman fly past me coming down through fancy gap on 77 at about 90 miles an hour,i hollered at her on the radio "hey swift, you know your trailer brakes are on fire right?" her reply was "you drive your truck and i'll drive mine, asshole!!!" well, when she did get it stopped,(about 5 miles past the OPEN NC scale at the state line) there were about 5-6 police cars, and she was in the "postion" up against the side of the truck! so no good deed goes un-punished!.........................Mark
  5. Another Jersey Mack? it must be fate! Killer needs a "big brother"!...............................Mark
  6. Good to see you back on board! hows that DM liking the higher altitudes? my CX goes berserk in high elevations! does'nt like em'!..........................Mark
  7. Now Now Randy,be nice! you know we all have to be politically correct, maybe Rob is just" PET-TRO-LY-UMLY challenged"?...................................Mark
  8. Very impressive line-up of American Iron right there! prolly never see that many RW's in one place at one time anytime soon!.........................Mark
  9. Little to no room at all in a concave cab, especially if you're a "big un" such as myself! not all that much room in a standard B-cab,but i do think the most leg room would have to be the H-model,just because of the cab configuration, sits a little taller, and there is more room to adust the seat....................Mark
  10. Prolly so,but that just adds to its "character" any pussy can operate in dry, sunny weather! if you cant see the road through the floorboard, chances are it aint a genuine "Jersey Mack" LMAO!.............Mark
  11. I'm gonna break down an go up to macungie this coming year, said it before'i'll say it again, bunch of us ought to show up,be quite an expeience in my opinion! imagine the trouble that could be caused by all of us in person! Allentown would never be the same!.............................Mark
  12. LMAO!.....................Mark
  13. Randy, you NEED this one! cheap AND practical for your line of work! and it comes from Jersey,so thats a bonus too! LOL!........................Mark
  14. My wife (Mrs.Vision) knows how much i like my "Mack shit" so when she saw they had discontinued my all-time favorite T-shirt,she went ahead and ordered the few remaining ones the Mack shop had left in stock, and was gracious enough to model one for me. sure enough, that B-model never looked better,or more three dimensional! again, sorry to brag, but its good to be me!...............................Mark
  15. Indeed!
  16. Without giving it a "once-over" in person,it is hard to give a fair and honest opinion, that being said,i think the price is a little on the high side, and it is not something i would personally be intersted in,as i favor the stock appearance in a classic Mack, mechanical, cosmetic, and safety upgrades not withstanding. So many of these type trucks seem "thrown together" to me,and it would take a small fortune to correct all the little things that someone else overlooked, not saying that this truck is one of those at all,i would just be very wary of all those "modifications" frame stretch, sleeper addition, driveshaft lenghthening etc...............again,just my two cents..............Mark
  17. thought this was a pretty clever t-shirt!.............Mark P.S. thats hillary clinton if ya cant make it out!
  18. If you could make out the ICC/MC number then you could look it up,but dont hold me to this, but it looks like the logo for Shanahan express trucking,Revere Mass. (Boston area) they were a small LTL carrier that served mass.and some neighboring states........................Mark
  19. http://southjersey.c...2574477732.html This looks to be in pretty decent shape, not at all a bad price either in my opinion.................Mark
  20. Gettin' to be EVERTHING needs intructions on it nowadays LOL!....................................Mark
  21. Yeah Ernie, seems everybody had MB's at one time! i'm pretty sure APA had about a thousand of them before going to the MR's which nobody liked! drivers hated them for some reason,i never got to drive one myself. the one i drove was the scania engine with a 5 speed Mack trans. only thing was no power steering, end of the day your arms would look like popeye! sometimes wish that hada worked out, hell i coulda been damn near retired by now! APA was a good gig, good pay, they treated their guys very well,my uncle started as a city driver, ended up terminal manager at the terminal on aramingo ave. in philly,he was there almost 50 years before he passed!............................Mark
  22. LMAO! i used to have a t-shirt that said something like "protect animals, keep them covered with gravy and mashed potatoes"!.......................................Mark
  23. Forgot to post some pictures, the one i drove looked alot like this one, added the B-model just for SH*TS and giggles!.......................Mark
  24. Tom, i drove an MB for a short time when i was younger,my uncle was terminal manager for APA at their philly terminal,he got me the job,an about three months later they went out of business! but a good truck for for city work, thats for sure!................................Mark
