Looks something like mine,just not as fancy (mine I mean) mine is also a 2000,with well over a million miles,never had any major problems/issues with it since new. A sharp well cared for truck I'd say.i wish you good luck and hope it does what you ask of it,mines been a damn good one!.....................................Mark

Some very nice trucks! I like the red H-Model just above Al's BCR (Truck looks great Al) and Mikes boys W-Model sure cleaned up nice! that's a real sharp truck! looks like a nice turnout too,i haven't been to the Jamboree at Walcott since prolly 2000-1? always a good time though! We had a similar flatbed years ago on the farm,just sat,never went anywhere it had the angled corners in the front,thats what made me think Fruehauf,but now that I think about it,it had a Fruehauf emblem to the right of the gladhands? could be wrong but just an un-educated guess! Lol!....................................Mark

Nice Donald Duck! even with the drip-droit! I remember one in Jersey that had a second Emeryville cab on it mounted facing backwards used as a sleeper,it sat behind a house long as I can remember,prolly long since in the big scrapyard in the sky by now! interesting truck for sure! Personally,on a "cold start" (despite WHAT the temp. is) I start the engine,let it idle,do my walkaround,paperwork etc while warming up,i NEVER race the engine when cold EVER! but,i was taught old school,i've seen plenty of guys get in a truck and soon as it starts,floor the throttle building air pressure,if they worked for me,driving my equipment,it would be the first and last time they did it in my truck! Theres a video of a guy doing a cold-start on an R-Model on youtube,soon as it catches he floors it,i cringe everytime I see it!..........................Mark

Mike,i don't don't have any firsthand experience with the Vintage Air type units,have seen them on a few vintage trucks though. I do however know for a fact how well a Red-Dot low profile unit works,friend of mine in Jersey runs an F-Model doing local farm hauls,i have driven the truck,and it will run you out of the cab! pretty much all he did was seal up all the leaks,gaps he could find,and did some extra insulation in the cab,it's short enough you'd hardly notice it on a W-Model..........................Mark

Nurses! my wife is also an RN,senior in charge of the nursing staff at an area hospital specializing in pediatrics,she is also in charge of training all new nurses in procedures,ethics,patient care etc. Almost ALL the new nurses fresh out of school have some type attitude according to her,"not my job" "why do I have to do that?" etc. thank god I married a Jersey Girl with attitude of her own! "because I EFFING told you to do it,thats why!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Mrs Vision is like me,very little tolerance for BS! especially at the workplace! Its true though,they all feel they deserve top pay,all the perks,right out of the gate,my beloved yankee wife has sent more then a few home crying,or thinking of a career change!...........................................Mark
