Like Ken,i was new to the interweb and came here looking for info on a particular truck, little did I know It would lead to something I truly look forward to checking out! I never knew there were so many people out there with similar backgrounds and interests as mine! Pretty much right from the start I was made to feel welcome at BMT,did'nt get laughed at for my lack of computer savvy (well a little) Personally,i don't belong to any other groups and this is about as close as I'm ever going to get to "social networking" I'm real glad I happened onto BMT,been a few rough patches here and there, but always feel better after a "rant" and consider many people on here to be friends, even if we have not met in person! I learned a good many things I didn't know too!...............I think its cool that the younger guys seem truly interested in what us old coots have to say about trucks and trucking!........................................Mark

I too used to look forward to the exploits of Will & Sonny every Tuesday! My Dad used to laugh at the fact their truck seemed to always be one step from being repossed,Dad would say "If they'd just take a break from solving crimes,fighting,goofing-off,racing etc. and HAUL SOME FRIEGHT! they'd prolly be able to make a payment or two ontime" Lol! different world back then for sure! Prolly not the most realistic show ever made, but there were some nice trucks! and it showed Truckdrivers as "the good guys".........................Mark

Took some more pictures the other day when I was putting up my new shelf, these are my Hubley Model-A Fords, which I have had for a LONG time! the roadster pickup I originally built for my Grandfather when I was 8-9 years old pretty crappy job back then, but he loved it! Built the roadster and wagon around the same time, but have since restored all of them................................Mark

I don't watch much TV to begin with, and I TRIED to watch some of the "reality" shows but couldn't take it! pretty much all BS as far as I'm concerned! we have a channel called "Retro" that plays all the old shows like Dragnet,Gunsmoke,Emergency,Hill Street Blues etc. I pretty much watch those or an old movie on AMC or TNT.................I actually met that dipshit that drives the KW on "shipping wars" in person, what a douche! real Hollywood type asshole! Lol!.................................Mark

I'm glad to know that there are still some "real" truckdrivers left in this world! I've often said I hoped someone would help my wife, mom or family when they needed it while travelling, and have always tried to do so myself with no thanks or reward nessesary!................Mark
