  1. That is quite the truck! I have often wondered what it would be like to run a Road Train, and I would love to see it in person at some point! Will be the only one of its kind on this side of the pond for sure! I give the former O/O a lot of credit, not easy to keep a working truck looking that good, especially given the conditions "Down Under"! the Aussies sure know their trucks! I think Macks have just a big of following there as they do here!..................................................Mark
  2. Nice pictures Tom! I have some relatives in Charlotte Co. did you ever read the story about this dual-engine truck in Wheels of Time? pretty interesting,if I remember correctly,a farmer in the Midwest built it himself because he was tired of getting passed by Largecars!...............................Mark
  3. Thanks for posting these Tom! I really enjoyed looking through them! I especially like the "glamour" shots used for company brochures etc. I also like the black and white pictures with period drivers and mechanics! great stuff!..........................Mark
  4. Found this picture on the interweb, thought this was a neat looking truck! I wonder if its still around? looks like a fairly recent picture, there are several towing companies right off I-80 in Stroudsburg, some with some pretty heavy duty equipment. Be nice to see this one saved anyway!....................................Mark
  5. Ken,i'm no electrician by any means, but I do know Great Dane does factory install LED interior lighting in trailers, all of ours (Clark Transfer) are so equipped. They are great! flush mounted, very bright, they don't get hot, there are only four in my 53' and they make it as bright as daylight in there! any Great Dane dealer should be able to get you parts numbers and info. I know I wouldn't want to be without them now especially with winter coming on and the days getting shorter..............................Mark

I usually try to eat at the Midway Diner (right across the street) when i'm in the area, been through their yard a few times, not looking for anything specific, they really don't seem to have much interest in selling anything! nice enough people, just not the most professionally run place I've ever come across! they know where NOTHING is,or even if they have it!
