  8. Nice pics bud! takes some getting used to (cabover) but like most of us eastcoast oldtimers we almost all started out in C.O.E.s! it was quite the transition to a hood! pretty country out Wyoming/ Montana way, seen some nice sunsets/rises myself! 10. Believe it or not I couldn't find any pictures either! I remember seeing those too,and wondered what they were used for,i know Swift had some truck-trailer combinations with small tires that were used to deliver automobiles themselves. Pretty sure Ruan leasing had some "Maxi-Cube" IH C.O.Es too.Ron,do you remember who made those 3 axle (single tired) moving vans, the ones that were supposed to double your cube! LOL! and eliminate the fender wells (like on a double drop) I couldn't find any pictures of those either, pretty sure they were Matlocks, maybe Kentuckys?.....................................Mark
  11. Cabover with a conventional sleeper is nothing new, there were a ton of them back in the eighties, really popular with us bedbuggers (household movers) we had a guy leased on at Atlas when I was there with a KW very similar to the brown one pictured. Truck had a boot between cab and sleeper, and a snap-on cover for when the cab needed to be tilted. I imagine it would not be and easy project on an MR,way to much going on on the back of the cab!.......................Mark

  25. Jim,i'm taking a guess that either the fenders were welded together and refinished (was common back then for rust repair,at least in the "winter" states lol!) or those are fiberglass fenders I remember Clariben or one of the aftermarket companies made replacement fenders without the headlight panel seams or recess that made the truck look "bug-eyed"..............................Mark
