  1. Mike,i feel your pain! that SH*t happens all the time! its like their time is valuable, but OURS is not! I've had to pay a few freight brokers a "personal" visit over the years, to help them find their checkbooks,or the money they promised after I held up my end of the bargain! and they conveniently "forgot" to include in my settlement!..................................Mark
  2. Saw some big shovels like that working down in Randyp's neck of the woods not too long ago (Northeastern Texas) also up in South Central Canada, first time I saw it at night,i thought it was a city in the distance!,those things are HUGE!.............................Mark
  3. I found one I was saving, thought the Mopar guys would get a kick out of it!...........................................Mark
  4. I sure miss those days!................................Mark
  5. LOL! yes! but it doesn't tastes as "fishy"!...........................................Mark
  6. Heres another one i'm pretty proud of! Denise Ferrantes's 32 ford Coupe, this is a 72 454 out of a dump truck, bored .030,Arias pistons,Lunati cam,Moroso dress-up kit etc. all the machine work was done at Morleys speed shop Pitman,NJ I put it back together and in the car when it was finished. The car was built by Mike Wales Vineland,NJ painted by my uncle Barry Killoran,Malaga,NJ for Denise, she was real happy with the way it turned out! it ran/sounded great!.........................Mark
  7. Don't know much about them, but they do show up on Ebay occaisionally..............................Mark
  8. LMAO! Had to do it Ernie!...................Mark
  9. A trip that takes you anywhere near Milwaukee is not complete without a trip to the Mars Cheese Castle! plenty of truck parking, free samples, and ANY kind of good cheese or snack you ever heard of! real nice folks! and if you don't have room (or don't want to eat it all before you get home) they'll ship most anything anywhere!.........................Mark
  10. Heres a picture of my buddy Mike Capoferri's Dodge pickup,it was a "Little Red Truck" originally,he bought it as a project with a blown 360 and bad trans. I built a 350 4-bolt main for him out of a GMC pickup (Sorry Ernie!),bored, ported polished Edelbrock intake,Holley 650 cfm carb, along with a nice Edelbrock dress-up kit backed by a fresh turbo 350 trans, with a B&M shiftkit his son still drives it today!.....................................Mark
  11. Thanks Al,that was for sale in WOT a while back wasn't it?............................Mark
  12. Anyone know who belongs to that green F-Model? seems to turn up in a lot of pictures, nice looking truck!.............................Mark
  13. BBQ looks great! never really knew about "pulled pork" BBQ till we moved down here,i like it! BTW,if anybody is ever down to Martinsville for the races,we are only about 4 miles from the track..........Mark
  14. Yes Jim,Liedtka is a flatbed outfit out of Trenton, used to run mostly Macks......................................Mark
  15. Welcome aboard! where in Jersey?..........................Mark
  16. Heres one I saw out at Western Colorado Mack a few years ago, nice truck, but it had an IH body and fenders on it......................................Mark
  17. I like the 56 F-100'sand i'm NOT a Ford guy! as JT said, the smallblock Chevy is an easy swap into an early Ford, and makes the most sense. Anyone who has ever built a Ford knows the expense! its much more cost effective to do a smallblock Chevy, parts are more readily available, and a lot cheaper! most don't agree, but i'd go Chevy in any make rod/custom that I built...................Mark
  18. Ernie, this pickup is whats usually considered a Mack Junior, but they were built by REO,i only ever saw one in person,up in Gap,PA and it had a big NOT FOR SALE sign in the window!.....................................Mark
  19. That's a good looking outfit! thanks for posting the pictures. Where you guys at in South Jersey? couldn't make it out in the pictures, just curious as I was born and raised in South Jersey (Elmer/Pittsgrove) I may have seen it before I moved,we've been down here almost 5 years now......................Mark
  20. Yup,looked a lot like this back then!............................Mark
  21. Excellent! I am sure glad to see Joe's truck in good hands! I had the good fortune to meet Joe many years ago,not many left like that anymore! quite a character he was! truck looks great. I like the KW too,has the "old school" look that I prefer,i may have asked before, but is that an Aero-Liner bunk on the KW? thanks again for posting!...................Mark
  22. A safe and happy Memorial day weekend. to everyone! and please take the time to remember what the holiday is all about...................Mark
  23. Saw one good story this afternoon, they were interviewing an elderly lady about the twisters, and she was most upset about the loss of her little dog, when just about then the newscaster said "Theres a little dog!" sure enough, the dog was in the wreckage of what once was their home, all in one piece! lady said now she had the answers to TWO prayers! nice to see something positive come out of this disaster, and I agree with 41 Chevy, not gonna be any real help from our fearless leader unless a disaster happens in another country,no real help for our own people, especially when its needed, just lip service and B.S!............................Mark
  24. And a few Fords,both truck and tractors...........................Mark
