  1. Not much hotter than a woman who can drive a stick shift!....................................................Mark
  2. I had many a CPO when I was a lad,wish I could get one now!...................................Mark
  3. I'm with Superdog, sorry to learn this news, but you have a good many friends here behind you should you need us!......................................................Mark
  4. I never understood the collector car mentality, cars were MEANT to be driven and enjoyed! of course I can understand the 6 go-zillion dollar Duesenberg, but give me a restored 67' GTO, Camaro etc. and it's goin' on the road!............................Mark
  5. LMAO! That's some funny shit right there!...........................Mark
  6. Guess I better join up too! never pulled or moved a pup,but several 20' containers back in my moving van days and came to the conclusion I could not back one up to save my ass!.....................................Mark
  7. Damn! I hope Mrs.Vision never discovers the colander of truth,or I got some splainin' to do!................................Mark
  8. Dammit Al! now I gotta wipe the coffee off of my computer! but I sure like them French fried po-taters! MMHUMMM!.................I used to answer my phone like Karl when my wife called, drove her crazy!.............................Mark
  9. I got the flu years back, and made into the old Duke Truckstop,Buckeye Lake,OH don't think I've been that sick since! all I wanted to do was get a room, crank up the heat and pass-out! lady at the check-in desk said" Bud,you don't look too good" I said, "I felt like I was dead, and no one had told me" They made a point to check on me,bought me some Theraflu (some nasty shit) and even went and brought me some homemade soup, never forgot the kindness, and made it a point to let them know how much it was appreaciated. Not too many people nowadays would go above and beyond for a stranger............place is long gone now,but I still remember, and always stopped in when I could, had some pretty damn good pies/cakes there too!.................................Mark
  10. Tom,glad you're feeling better, and I'm sure you know I know it blows to get sick on the road! been there done that! sounds like you got a pretty good boss too! I had a boss years ago that would have said "I don't give a s**t if your damn head is falling off, that freight needs to be on the dock at 7:00 NOT 7:05 get you ass in gear and get moving!!" ( that gig lasted two trips)......................Mark
  11. Very nice! I wish I could get in the wayback machine and order a new B-Model with the 245" wheelbase!......................................Mark
  12. Personally,i think Mack is more than just a truck,it's an American icon EVERYBODY knows what a Mack truck is! I don't think any truck maker has the following/history that Mack does. I guess I am guilty as charged with brand loyalty,i've owned 5 so far and driven many more..................................Mark
  13. Paul,i don't know this car,but will do some checking,i do know Pappas & Wolf is a law firm still around in South Jersey Haddon Heights IIRC?................................Mark
  14. I knew I liked BMT for a reason! I greased the truck/steamed off the 5th wheel yesterday, and to tell the truth,i didn't even know Seattle had a football team!.............................Mark
  15. Not a recent experience, but years ago I ran a set of Kumho drives on my CH and to tell the truth I was damn happy with them! only one I ever lost was not the tires fault,i ran over something that caused it to come apart. I agree with never cheaping out on steers, even back when I started in my F-model ( which was mostly tape and bailing wire),i managed to buy a new set of Goodyear steers on credit......................Mark
  16. You got some "splainin'" to do!...........................................Mark
  17. I agree with what's been posted, definately NOT a GTO! this is a mid-trim level Le Mans or Tempest with GTO sheetmetal and badging. I did the very same thing with my 67' Tempest, bought a wrecked GTO front clip/hood and had "instant GTO" might still be worth the effort,as these cars are getting scares, just don't be fooled into thinking this is a genuine Goat,a basketcase GTO goes for 25K nowadays!...............................Mark
  18. Does anybody have any idea what color a factory AC engine is? I have an upcoming model project, and have never seen anything but black&white photos of new AC engines. Best I can tell seeing a restored AC is that they were either gray or a darker smoke gray? These are some great detail pictures however!......................................Mark
  19. Sometimes winter ain't all that bad!
  20. A sharp B-Model,personally I could do without the flames,but a nice truck! and I agree with 41,nice pic of the SW&C Willys!...........................................Mark
  21. Welcome back! I too am sorry to hear about your situation,BUT you still have the F-Model and that's a good thing!........................................Mark
  22. Great picture of the B-Model and welcome aboard! are you from Jersey originally? there are quite a few Jersey guys on here, myself included...................................Mark
  23. That talent is something I have always admired,i really like to see hand painted lettering done,i wish there were more guys left that did it though.......................................Mark
  24. Seems a reasonable price to me,just a damn shame its got a driptroit in it! I would sure like to own a 361 tractor before I croak!......................................Mark
  25. I've seen a good number of these pictures involving dump trucks, and my question is this (and yes I HAVE driven a dump trailer) is HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU NOT TELL/SEE THE BODY IS UP?????????????? effing ridiculous! do these guys not have mirrors on these trucks?...................................................Mark
