Back when my Dad was still running produce,he did a lot of triplease work for Greenstein trucking Pompano Beach,FL,Overdrive did a feature story on a friend of his, Ed Kimball,my Dad said he was a class act and ran a spotless truck! I got to meet Ed later in life He,my Dad and i had breakfast together one day,which is where i took the picture of the double-bunk KW Ed also owned................................Mark

Took a ride with my Dad one saturday morning,when he was looking at new trucks (did'nt have to ask me twice) thought we were headed to Trenton Mack,but all they had in stock were daycab conventionals,we did look around this lot for quite a while! these were taken at Central Jersey Kenworth (now gone) and all brand new,approx. 1976/77.............................Mark

  8. LOL! i pass a lot of these "big riggers" that are sitting on the floor,only thing now is,they have a shifter almost as tall as the inside of the cab!....................................Mark

Same guy that drove for Kenny Levari in the previous post also ran this R-Model for Port Norris Express Port Norris,NJ i remember it had one of those fiberglass rest-rite sleepers on it,IIRC it was a 300,12 speed on camelback. He pulled a pnuematic tank throughout the northeast with it..........................Mark

Here is the only existing picture of my Grandads F-model on the day we picked it up,as you might see it was an old Ryder Rental truck, 300 Plus,10 speed Road-Ranger etc. Started going farther away from home at the time,and Pop decided it was time we got a sleeper. This was the last truck bought before Pop retired and sold the farm. I made many a trip with this truck between South Jersey and Binghampton,NY never let me down,only real complaint i had with it was it was a rough-riding S.O.B !.............................Mark

Stunning pictures,gripping descriptions as we've become accustomed to! i go past this F-model almost every week now,been there a long time! don't know if you ever noticed,but they ain't gonna do much training with that one (no motor) looks to be in pretty good shape,at least from a distance.........................................Mark
