  1. MOST of the time is the key word! that is when their not busy tearing doors off trailers!..............................................Mark
  2. I'm right there with you Al,some guys have the "knack" to restore/fix-up a truck, some don't ! personally,i like the classic look on a truck,a lot of the "show" trucks around now are WAY overdone for my taste! funny the things that you remember sometimes, but that green KW bullnose had the neatest aluminum "naked lady" grab-handles on it,never seen any others like it since! it was a sharp truck, and sounded great!........................................Mark
  3. They must have made a TON of them that looked like this one! LOL!.......................................Mark

  12. I agree, they started the "other" show down in Atco, but it was'nt near as big/good as Englishtown,no such thing as a "fancy" garbage truck in South Jersey (at the time) i really enjoyed seeing all the "big iron" from North Jersey/NYC when i was young! Not really any other place in the country (with the exception of New England) that you can tell where a trucks from, just by how its painted,or what it looks like?.................................Mark
  13. Looks pretty good and straight, sure hope it gets a good home, and is not made into a Rat-Rod!,that whole trend bothers me!................................Mark
  14. Before anybody gets on my ass,i like this truck! but i blew up the picture of the interior, and that damn spaghetti wiring all over the place would drive me absoulutely insane! (well worse anyway) i can't stand loose wires, not connected wires, wires that don't do anything!!! i know,i know, its a "vintage" work truck and this is just my rant! i have plenty of extra "things" in my CX,but you wont see wire one anywhere!............................(i'd still buy it if i had the dough!) .........................Mark
  15. My Grandad re-powered his AK with a govt. supplied GMC inline six during WWII,as no Mack engines and very few parts were available, and the farm was considered an essential service to the war effort. Pop said the GMC was ALMOST as good as the Mack 6 (the same one went into Duece and a Halfs) only problem he told me about was it (the GMC) was harder to keep cool, due to the smaller radiator in the AK. The truck ran all the way up into the seventies, after it was sold to a drayage company at the port of Camden,NJ.......................Mark
  16. Wish i had an extra 7K sitting around! thats a nice little truck! does look like a mismatch on headlights/fenders can't put my finger on it,but something looks out of place? interior sure looks good for its age too..........................................Mark
