    Wipers/motors were a problem on my MH almost from new! i don't know how many times i put the washer tube back on,and how many other vehicles (and pedestrians) got "peed" on when i used the washer!....................................Mark

    Tom,the Clariben hoods were not a factory option,but an after market item you could use to replace an older steel hood on several different trucks, Doug Maney posted a neat brochure in the BMT wiki section,showing a lot of the types of trucks they were available for,personally,i don't like them ! they look "odd" to me!............................Mark http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/tutorials/article/8-clariben-hood-brochure-aftermarket/

    APA's maintenence shop on Aramingo Ave. in Philly had a schoolbus load of N.O.S. MB parts when they went under,would'nt sell any of it by the piece,all or none! don't know whatever happened to it all! they even had a groomed cab still on the pallet!....................Mark

    I drove a brand new single axle Astro for Atlas Van Lines when i was still a company driver, 300 Cummins,10 speed,air-ride,nothing fancy,but it was a damn good truck,never had any "issues" at all with it. The C.O.E Freightliners that replaced the Astros were another story! real junk!....................................Mark
