  11. Heres a few more from the "vault" when my Grandad retired, sold the farm, kinda left me without a job,so Pop put in a good word for me with a local small fleet operator who was looking for a driver, hired me on the spot with Pop's handshake. I ran this R-model for about 5 months in the summer of 1981 for Barry Cairione Trucking Malaga,NJ he owned three trucks at the time, this R-model another one just about the same specs 300+ 6-speed,the one i drove was the newer style, the one next to it had the illusive "hood scoop" both on Camelbacks. He also had a White Road Boss II,which was a real "turd" formula 290 Cummins,9 speed Fuller. I enjoyed running for him, made decent money, home everynight, but just was'nt enough work to keep us all busy in the winter,so i took a job at Atlas Van Lines, but that is another story!..........................Mark
