  1. Ok sorry I see you said you never used it..
  2. They are a little pricy and I read a few reviews that said the bits won't even scratch the hardned steel of the brake, have you used one?
  3. Ok. Thanks for the info..
  4. Did what went with two clutch brakes?
  5. Yup might just put another hinged brake in front of that one and see if it lasts this time, you can see in the picture it's not very thick, maybe half of what the hinged type is..
  6. It's a mack 12 speed,so how to remove it,will the slotted socket method work, should break since it a hardened steel I would think? Maybe an air chisel with a long bit?
  7. The brake that in there now appears to be worn out on one side anyway,I tried to adjust the linkage to hit the the brake but no luck,if I had new brake in there it would be perfect where it's set now,got to get that old one out first,is torch the only way,saw a vid where a guy cut slots in a deep impact socket he used an extension and braker bar and broke it in half, not sure if the it was a one piece or a hinged, mine is a one piece, think that would work?
  8. Well to answer my own question I'm gonna see if I can adjust the clutch to work with the one original brake, having two in there makes no sense and probably why it failed and I should mention this the second one that broke in less than a year..
  9. Yes had the pedal to the floor so I could get a better picture, what should I do take that out or leave it,I had a clutch installed a few years ago,why would they leave that in there?looks pretty flimsy compared to the hinged one that was in there with it..
  10. So for some reason my hinged clutch brake fell apart, after getting it out I notice what looks like another disc on the shaft,is this supposed to be there or is it an brake or a spacer?
  11. Looks like fun but really 150,000 pounds?
  12. Same rim as the 11.00
  13. Yeah, come for a ride in my cl with 58 rears and then you'll think your truck rides like an old caddy..lol
  14. I would love to see a few pictures of the rails, chances are u could run it the way it is..
  15. For that price you could re rail it..
  16. Maybe I'll substitute a cigar for the coke🤔😂
  17. I need to swap out an air bag on my dump truck drop axle, any advise or tips to do it?
  18. A little top heavy tho..
  19. Well time will tell,I can't see this breaking,it's very heavy duty, did three tires this morning no problem,it also came with a mounting tool that works awesome..
  20. I don't do all that much tire work with only one truck but when the time comes for new rubber I've been buying on line to save a lot of money also like to clean up everything that's why I do it myself,I've gotten pretty good with he irons but this just way easer, this was only a hundred bucks on Amazon and it came with a mounting tool also..
  21. Any body use one of these tools,so easy it's ridiculous, never seen them at use in tire shop tho, wonder why?
  22. Ten wheeler or tri axle, if ten wheel I would leave the 58..
  23. Maybe it's the right side that not working properly, collapsed air line or something..
