    they give you trouble putting antique DUMP trucks on the road in Ny. they KNOW you are going to use it for its intended purpose.

    We have a 1964 B421, its has a factory air parking brake in the dash. nothing like a single axle B dump. thinkin of makin one myself with a truck and box I have,. just gonna try to convince the DMV to put historic plates on it and ill be a good boy and not use it to make money.

    I remember two A cars there with steel fenders, both were red. think one had a box and the other was a cab and chassis with a rusty chrome air cleaner. was parked next to the orange Pompa Bros Granite

    yup that's a 59 or 60. the 500 and 600's I believe you could get 5 or 6lug. no rhyme or reason either, I have seen 53-56 fords with both 5 and 6 studs in 5 and 600 numbers. think when they went to 700 and 750 later it was 8 and 10 stud wheels. the tag is usually in the glove box or in the driverside door jamb. the 477 and 534's would pass everything but a gas station. every old Ford I remember smelled like raw gas .

    Kevins truck is pretty nice. I remember when he was building it and it still had a V8 gasser in it. its definitely a driver tho. there was also a lot less trucks there this year than usual. usually there is a whole row of Brockways. traffic was a bitch because FarmAid was going on in Saratoga at the same time.

    Kevin All was there also. twot rucks down from me with his Chevy/Mack B model Pickup. I looked over the the B model flatbed also. was a real nice truck. I liked the maroon LJ tandem and the one Red B61 with cream colored wheels was nice and pretty solid and original. the LF and B42 that are Cook's trucks are always nice also. my friend was there with the Durty Mack A40 also on the Dodge frame with the cummins, Vinny

    nice pics vinster. Skip mceans super dog was one of my fav's. I opened the door and it was like brand new inside, custom built for Skip Mcean Petrolium transport. inside was two tone dark red and gray. looked like it just came off the assembly line. didn't get a picture of me with a WATER BOTTLE in my hand???

    last time I was in Ga about a year ago vintage single axle lowboys were a dime a dozen. you need to find some and import them northbound

    went to look at one I knew about of the beaten path in Albany Ny today. was there last fall, GONE

    im thinking that propane engine came out of that B72 as it doesn't have any fuel tanks and has the air tanks under the running boards like I have never seen before in a B. leads me to believe that B72 was an LP gas truck with one of those long tanks on the side of the frame

    kinda like it Barry. btw is there any chance you have one of the older black shirts with the red R600st and B model on the back? that was one of my favorites but mine is getting a little beat.
