  1. I know my grandfather had some 6 1968 Diamond Reos with the gold comet in them and they still had the small Reo cab. think they might have had butterfly hoods on them yet to. cant remember if they were fiberglass fenders or not
  2. buddy of mine borrowed my car trailer the other week, brought it back and gave me a mason jar of fresh peach moon straight from south Carolina. had a whole peach diced up in the jar. boy will that stuff eat the paint off an old B model fender! whew!!
  3. you should just gimme that truck Bigdog and ill give you a perfectly rusty ratty hacked up frame you can do anything you want with.... the only detail I miss is not snagging that truck of your up when I had the chance haha. almost my colors to
  4. if Obama would keep his hands out of my wallet and quit spending it overseas for wars we don't need I would have more money to save more Macks...
  5. like Mike said, unneeded now for probably what you gonna use it for. needed back then when all the weight laws changed, probably alright if done right but I hate when someone cobbles on a nice frame
  6. nice trucks. god id love to find an old tank trailer like that around here. dunno how the dot would handle it though
  7. yup, bad thought. too nice of a frame to go welding an unneeded tag axle on the ass end of
  8. PLEASE tell me you are not gonna weld a tag axle on the ass end of that B75. I knew I should have sold 5 trucks I own and bought it when it was one state over Bigdog!
  9. agree that's a 5 grand truck tops. especially for a gas guzzler 707.im gonna sit on the porch with Farmer and the rest of us poor bastards and watch everything go by
  10. nice truck. I kinda like the color combo. odd lookin newer style front hubs on it I see but appears to be the original beam. looks like someone updated the spokes. pretty clean truck
  11. yup theres a name from the past B R DeWitt
  12. definitely a unique truck. whoever did the hood did a good job as the inner fenders are exact along with where the emblems go. maybe its all sheetmetal welded together but then I think it would be too heavy to tilt and lift. also has weird square Mack embossed mirrors on it
  13. nice Overnite F model but damn that 300+ under the hood of that flip nose B model makes me drool..... WITH Air Conditioning and 24'' rubber... ,wonder who made that fiberglass hood??
  14. haha I watched that clip about 20 times a few weeks ago! what a shame but its only a junk FORD. probably has a 6 litre in it to.
  15. wow I like the brown one with the old school 70's paint. kinda even like the DOG license plate with the CAT emblem..
  16. getting colder weather , seat cover spottin days are gonna be limited.
  17. nice pictrues. appears that B model has an older style spoke front axle. maybe from an LJ or something? definitely not one I have seen on a B with those type of spokes unless it was that way for export? also appears to have some sort of tilt front end as the fender is cut.
  18. thinking about driving my B down to Trucktoberfest this year. I imagine you have to get there early as space is limited or no?
  19. when I was there during Macungie show I think I asked one of the guides if any parts walked out during B model days..... he told me I would not believe it. springs, engines, spindles, everything left out the back door or in a lunchbox. ah the good old days. I would have had 10 brand new B models in my yard if I worked for Mack back then haha and the good thing is most everything would have fit, unlike Johnny Cash's Cadillac.
  20. and paint them with at least acrylic enamel paint. you will be happy you did. don't use straight enamel, they will be pink in 6 months and wheels are not where I like pink...
  21. yup they have Macks and Pete's around here for ag work with those tires. they even have bigfoot tires on some of them around here to. looks rough to me but I still like it. how about that half gallon of grease on the fifth wheel?
  22. im tellin you vinny, get a gallon of paint stripper, martin seynour brand is the good stuff. strip those hubs and scrub with a small wire brush then clean them up with the sandblaster. nothing worse than sandblasting layers of paint.
  23. ok, so what the heck is cmcac?? did I miss something?
  24. 750? what a dog, no pun intended. the buckeye bulldog is pushin 4000 hp haha
  25. yup, aluminum spring hangers and tranny cases and rear end hogs heads might make it an L truck but kinda odd if a DM was an L like Mike said. of course Brockway had a similar tank and they were aluminum and I believe they were all made by Snyder Tanks out of Buffalo Ny. at least the early B tanks were
