  1. 79 or so with the lip fenders and a 300+ by the scoop
  2. i know someone lookin for a good drivetrain and a cab. maybe not a complete parts truck but that one could be saved I think as long as the frame is good. is it a tandem or single axle?
  3. wasn't that mobile Chapel at Macungie?
  4. yes the vent windowns can be rebuild. the rivets can be taken apart, parts rechromed and new rubber installed. onlu problem area is the latch pivot. I suppose someone could make the pivot part up on a small lathe if you have the handle
  5. yup, very good article. was also surprised about the molded tires. what I would do for a brand new Magnum with the plush red interior today...., was never a member of ATCA actually and this was my 1st magazine. thanks Vinny for pointing out my name is in the back for new members!
  6. believe it came out of an MR cabover, truck was shot I guess. never really heard of an ET673
  7. yup I could have retired off vent windows. last pair I bought was $250 a pair
  8. they don't have to be equal length and never were on a B model. on a B model they were mounted on the driver side between the fuel tank brackets inside the frame rail. if there was a front wheel brake control valve it was mounted here in place of a quick release valve to limit the air to the front brakes in inclimate weather. from here the line for the pass side ran backwards, around the cab mount crossmember then down the pass inside frame rail to a bulkbead fittin that went thru the rail and connected to a rubber hose then the brake can. the driver side ran down the left inner frame rail, under the steerin box and into a bulkhead fitting. most B models I have seen up here in New England have the front wheel control valve instead of a quick release valve to limit the air. same deal on air lines except the front wheel control valve version had another line that runs back to the flipper switch on the dash. there should already be two pre drilled holes from the factory to mount the valve between the fuel tank bracket bolt holes on the driver side inner frame rail.
  9. I dunno but there is still plenty of B models being done. id be happy with black powder coated as that's what 99% of B models had after 1962. Delbar black painted one, before that most were bicycle mirrors or generic brackets like retracs. the last pair I bought was about 125 or 150 a side. cant remember if it was from Barry or Tidewater. I have bought brackets from both.
  10. we have a bunch of 401's and parts. have a few layin for scrap to. what else do you need?
  11. sure Makes you wonder why the country is going broke when we spend thousands of dollars for this stuff and sell it for 100. I looked up items in Ny and there is a 1991 John Deere 544E fork truck with no bids. actually thought bout biddin but seems too good to be true and probably too much red tape to actually get it.
  12. didn't send an email just sent a PM on here a hour or so after you posted. not a big deal
  13. wow that B81 is a Brute. is it me or does it sit higher than the rest?? a B81 with a 250 and double over quad is on my wish list someday or a turbo B75
  14. yup bed looks out of place, not to mention who the hell wants to TRY to put anything in it and on top of that WHY bother with a piece of shit Volvo anyways
  15. wish I would have gotten a response...
  16. nice trailer, if I only had an extra 3500 layin around but then again a lowboy would get me in a lot of trouble, ALL the stray dogs would be at my house. least not I have a friends trailer I borrow so if he is using it it makes it a LITTLE harder to bring junk home
  17. he also put a Superliner front axle in her to with neway air ride I believe. has a 350 in it and he told me he finally put the 12 speed in after he split apart about 4 quadboxes. I have a picture of it the 1st time he restored it forever ago, its on its third restoration. heres a pic of it around 1994 or so at the Rutland Vt truck show back when they use to have it at Giddings yard.
  18. the Toy run we did last year with my B model that's in my photos was for the victims of Prattsville. we are planning one doin a run in September with my B model leading the way again in front of all the Harleys and all the benefits are going to the victims of Ft Plain. with all the water we received there was only one fatality, the elderly lady who refused to leave her home even when asked by Firefighters. her body was found in the locks of the Mohawk river yesterday afternoon.
  19. thanks for the compliments Vision. was hopin to meet up with a few more of you guys but always seemed to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. I walked around the park ten times and still there was trucks I didn't see.
  20. yup, and its hard to find guys that wanna go in and help clean up with their equipment and dumptrucks and brooms and tractors cause no one knows who is gonna take care of the bill . I know tons of my friends that are contractors and wanna help but FEMA screwed everyone the last time when we got flooded in Scoharie County over a year ago. heard some people had to wait 6 months to a year to get their money out of the government. the state will pay for fuel I guess but when you have 4-5 guys workin for you and have to pay them then wait 6 months to get reimbursed by the state or feds its bullshit. we are getting terrentual downpour rain right now actually. and the Water got over the river bank and up beind the garage vinster, the culvert up by the road god clogged and the water came across the road, washed out the neighbors whole yard next door and he still has not found his lawn mower, filled his whole basement with mud also. we spent hours the other day on the backhoe tryin to clear the creek out where it empties into the Mohawk river so the yard didn't flood. the State Dot was suppose to do it with a big excavator but they are too busy with everything else
  21. National Weather service just issued Severe flash flooding and they are re evactuating Ft Plain and all the areas that just got flooded. guess they don't get much mercy.
  22. I dunno im not a CH fan but the driven for a century truck needs to be saved and that light blue gray B model cab appears to be pristine
  23. well if everyone has not heard we experienced some major flooding, one dead, 100's of cars destroyed, homes and everything else last Friday Night in our neighboring town of Ft Plain Ny. somehow we are less than 2 miles away and got spared this time, 7 years ago to the day our town, Canajoharie Ny got flooded along with Ft Plain when the Mohawk river overflowded. (gotta thank the tree huggers for not wanting the channel dredged and being able to handle the capacity of water). been a rough few days and its bitter sweet for out business as we rent equipment and storage, had dozens of calls for renting backhoes and dozers and renting storage units. feel sorry for the 100's of people affected. the state and Fire Depts have been busy cleanin up FEET of mud from the streets and hosing everything down after the water receeded. they are still on the hunt for an elderly ladies body who refused to leave her trailer and it later got swept down stream and collided with a bridge. just the day beore we had two CSX trains collide one town down also . there is a video on youtube called ''Our Town'' showin some of the flood footage. been dozens of Macks and Mack state trucks haulin mud and sludge and logs and debris out but I feel guilty takin pictures of peoples loss.
  24. that block off plate is where the original fuel pump would have been mounted to with the sediment bowl. I assume someone probably added an electric fuel pump on it and took off the cam driven one. the original fuel line would have ran up the left hand side of the frame, to the fuel pump, then stuck up beind the water pump, curved around and bolted to the right side of the head under one of those 3/8's bolts then curved into the carb. the one in the pic I showed is cobbed and not original.
  25. ive been known to drive mine for a pizza, or a gallon of milk or a little league baseball game myself.......haha nothing better than driving an OLD Mack, well except for maybe one thing....
