  1. funny we dont hear from Gerarheadgirl for weeks and when she does chime its about starting trouble or starting bullshit...
  2. im sure it wasnt in that lane for long judgin by the slope of the hill its about to go up .. or it got a good dunnin start in jewish overdrive comin down that last slope...
  3. the Cecio trucks are really nice. the way the son treats the old man makes you wanna beat him with a shovel tho. saw the two of them at Springfield with the A model and the other truck. son did nothing but bitch at the old man. ''dont do that'' ,'' dont do this'','' watch it'','' dont scratch the truck dad''. he wouldnt even have the truck if it wasnt for his dad. was unreal
  4. a 53 would have a radio delete plate in the dash and probably would have a 4 digit vin number and not a 5. example B42TXXXX . our 1960 B42T is number 19035 and was bought late in 1960 as a left over.
  5. its an early april fools joke.....
  6. yup, 42 or 40 or 39MT will all work i believe. most have allen screws in the head so you can clock them how you want them to get the solonoid to miss everything.
  7. we accept engine and interior pictures to.......
  8. thats even better yet, when they paint the wheels with a rattle can like some fleet trailer shop
  9. anywhere from 4.28 or 4.62 would be good. those are two original ratios that come to mind. dont think Mack offered anything much faster back then. i have a 4.00 in my b model but it came out of a 75 U model.
  10. ok so what day is it guys? or what day is better to go? i plan on driving down for one day.
  11. maybe brilliently engineered for mr Vinny. could never get use to a DM or U model myself. hard to find a gear in a 6 speed 2 stick until you get use to it and hard to adjust the pass side mirror thats 12 miles away. haha or try to jump out of one and into a regular R model and drive down the road. your on the wrong side of the yellow line. sorry Vinster those C models are badass tho. id love one someday
  12. god someone must have got a good deal on that garbage truck white color and painted ever 'F'ing hub and rim in the whole yard. yuck
  13. my grandfather drove an M model IH for years for the local town, had a 220cummins with a 5 and 3 and a Frink snowplow on it. cant remember if it was front wheel drive or not but im thinkin it was?
  14. im about 45 min away, will be up that way tomorrow
  15. didnt say dog, i said dog base. i know they had gold bases but they were really rare. was just wonderin if this was an authentic one
  16. is that dog base really gold or painted???? never seen a gold one myself. could put up a few things about the dog and football but i think ill leave this one alone.....
  17. so i couldnt buy that yellar and black dog from your father for 6 grand Mike? haha
  18. always had a soft spot for those.... a C model with budd front wheels, thats gotta be a rarity
  19. yup been on there for at least 3 months
  20. haha i actually kinda like the black and yellow paint. maybe ill have to convince him at Macungie. is he a fan of adult cold water sandwiches??
  21. looks decent but looks about 6 grand too expensive to me and the engine will probally throw a rod being painted CAT yellow.. also is a really short tractor that someone made a dumptruck out of so its probably a single frame.
  22. Mack mirrors on that Manchester Brockway????? and btw i think anyone whos driven a B model has jammed their finger! my grandfather had a driver stick his thumb right right thru the windshield of an old B62 turning the wheel.
  23. nope , why in the hell would they take the camelbacks out for those timken rears??
  24. that B model with the super singles and pete air leaf also sports a 300+ under the hood i believe
