    never said it was a powerhouse, said it was a good engine. i dont have an attitude and wasnt pissy. last i knew it was America and i was free to state my mind, plenty of us old truck guys would be happy as hell to have one of those gutless pieces of shit you say in our old B models. never seen the little chat either, i see you, being an asshole tryin to tir the pot every single time we even brought up the mention of a 237. if you were so unhappy with it i guess you should have traded it right back in for anew pete and big engine. just statin my facts. and im far from a little boy so you can go play big freight man

    i dunno last i checked upstate Ny and Pa werent anywhere near flat and there were plenty of 237's runnin around here in the day. still a damn good motor. if it wasnt for the 237 Mack wouldnt have made it thru the 60's and 70's and they never would have had the 300, 300+ and 350. guess i dont know what im talkin about tho. i know Dellwood Milk hauled double milk trailers up the NYS Thruway to Ny with milk EVERYDAY and never shut them off. one driver out, one driver back in and head back to Ny and it was with a straight 5 speed. most of them have 2 and 3 million miles on them when they got rid of the trucks.

    yea, wrecker bed is worth probably 3-4 just in scrap and if it was a Holmes it worth its weigh anyways

    nope with all the modern colors, Red is not the most expensive anymore. usally anything wiht gold or pearl or red is expensive. some yellows are right up there on price as well

    yup looked fixable but B75 cabs are like hens teeth around my parts and if its anything like the B model wreckers from Upstate Ny, they see all the winter salt then get parked in a nice WARM garage to really get the salt perculating on them til they are used again. they usually rot inside the garage if they dont get washed enough, kinda like fire engines

    guess im not that stupid and the main bolts WERE thru the side of the block. on the industrial version they did NOT have the extra bolts thru the side of the block. i have a brand new 413 on my garage floor that came out of my B42 thats an industrial 413 with 2 barrel intake and adapter plate for a TRQ77 series transmission. also have a 354 Hemi industrail thats in my B model firetruck, 2 barrel strongburg, runs like a top.

    yup, lund was bought out bt Auto Ventshade company i believe and the B model visor was discontinued. the good old style one i mean. the one Watts has now is a newer more rounded style. sometimes the lund ones shows up but rarely. i bought one about 10 years ago for my truck for $180 bucks and i know the guy has 2 more stashed for himself that he wont part with lol
