  1. spotted this little gem outside Utica Ny the other day. they ran Brockways and B models and kept new trucks in storage and when they took them out, they were outdated. they went out in 1994. Cooks Brothers from Binghamton Ny bought out the Brocks and B models. two B models were left, we got one at the auction 2 years ago and Kevin All got the other. i asked one of the Sears boys about'' illusive'' new R models stashed somewhere. said he didnt know anything bout it, they never had R models........ haha they must have had this one stashed when cook brothers bought them out or they kept it cause of the Vac unit to suck tanks out of defunct service stations they use to own. Double clutch had a big story on Sears Oil, rome ny a few years ago. the snow pic i took Monday. the other i found on the Web, believe it was taken at Albany Mack years ago. 3rd is our Sears truck we bought at auction while we were replacing the tires 711.
  2. yup, buy some gas or diesel in New York state and you might be pissed off, god damn watery gas. bought a 5 gallon can the other day, stuck it in the firetruck as i have a hose in the can deal. turned it over and see the fuel filter fillin with water. yank the hose and find half a gallon of water in the bottom of the damn can in the gas i JUST bought
  3. wow are those two Superdogs sweet lookin with spokes and big rubber. i was diggin thru my old pictures from Macungie from the 90's, will have to post some. use to be tons more B models at Macungie years ago. some have seem to have stepped off the radar. havent seen some for years
  4. hell our small local club was still using the old elan with a pull behind groomer up until a few years ago. most of our trails are secondaries tho and not wide enough for the big guys
  5. yea, stamped in the body is 1328717
  6. the tip says Cummins 87 17 PT USA 67
  7. i second the Macungie Pub. always make it my stop for lunch either fri or sat. went there a few years ago when it was HOT at Macungie. left the pub a ''happy'' truck show attendee myself haha.
  8. the numbers on the timin cover pretty much or back of block. the END711, END707 and END673P have the split manifolds. not sayin they havent been added or taken away over the years tho. anyone could have put the split manifold on a regular 673
  9. k, thanks, didnt know, bought them as a lot with a new Mack injector pump and new Mack injectors for a 711. the company had Brockway or two that they put L10's in so thats just what i figured they were for.
  10. think i got a good deal for the 4 cooper Gs whatever recapps are on the back of my B61. think i paid 1200 mounted with new rims for four 11 24.5's. course i paid the same amount for 2 brand new BFG steer tires for the front with new rims lol
  11. i have 11 injectors for i believe an L10 Cummins from the 80's have six brand new ones and 5 rebuilt ones. they have part number 12811 0 on them. message me or gimme a call if your interested. 315 868 3173
  12. never seen a 711 with the old aluminum single intake manifold. everyone one i have seen has the ''PowerRam'' twin intakes like a 673P. also id say the engine is older than a 63. has the old style valve cover breathers and the old style straight return lines between the injectors.nice truck. i am going to look at a B81 today myself haha
  13. yup, same up here, cheap trucks, internationals or set back axle freightliners
  14. our 82 R600 at work has the square tanks but they are the bigger style like St Johnsbury ran. ill have to get a pic. it was originally a Ryder rental truck, probably had 2 million miles on it, 300 with a 9 speed rr. sweet truck but the frame cab and hood are junk. has a brand new pedegree engine tho haha
  15. i have one for you Mike. dunno if you can meet my askin price. put some nice 2 1/2 exhaust on it with 3'' Magnaflow stainless tips that rotted off my Silverado. started her up in the garage tonite and i think the neighbors a mile up the road could hear that Hemi roar haha
  16. i like the western F model. id like to have that tanker trailer that goes with it to to go with our Sears Oil B model. old tankers never show up anywhere . dunno what problems youd have with the DOT haulin one around anyways. other than that everything i see on that list seems a bit high in price. ouch. wtf are the exporters doin to the market. all those 2500 trucks people want 5 grand for. this should start a riot with the word EXPORTER in my post. haha
  17. hmmm and another Mopar Mack shows up. looks like someone higraded the Hemi out of here tho.
  18. thats the engine block casting number. ,means pretty much nothing. we need the number stamped on the right front near the timing cover or the chassis number stamped in the right front frame real.
  19. so do we all need nametags with our BMT ''handles'' on them? haha
  20. always thought the 0 meant overdrive and 20 meant double over. never really understood the TRQ7210 and TRQ7220 differences. guess they were both double over just different ratios? or the 7210 was an 18 speed and 7220 was a 20? they they made a regular 20 and have seen both 20 and 18 speed tags that said dont use 5th in low and low split.
  21. OMG Barry can you help us? this is out of hand. Get the picture yet? We're done with you
  22. yup, seen a few with perry water filters but they were frame mounted on B models. they mounted to the same bracket that the power steering resevoir did. i believe the endt673C and B motors had oil cooled pistons like the 237's did. if im wrong someone will jump in here.
  23. what everyone else said is pretty much true. 673 or 711 will get the job done, slow. a 237 in a B model is perfect with a 5 speed. alright with a quad as long as you dont hot rod it. a 10' body wont fit on a single axle B model unless you add a foot to the frame and a 9' body is about useless as most newer loaders with 3 or 5 yard buckets will either hit the tailgate or the cab protector.
  24. yup, think it is the buckeye tavern. good food and service to. few blocks up the street from where the bus picks u up for the factory tour
  25. we almost always go to the macungie pub for lunch sat and a phily cheesesteak. friday or sat night we went to a rest or steakhouse a few blocks up from the park . cant remember the name of it but i think the bus goes way up around the block when you come back and we drove past it. think its up by the school?
