  1. im sure WE will pay for it, or they will get a story and primetime Tv. got a scumbag kid in our neighborhood, 21, never worked, renting a ewmodeled house for 1125 a month that we are payin for. someone asked him why he doesnt have a job, he says, i dont need one, i wont get benefits then. then Social services tells him if he can come up with the 125, they will pay the grand. now tell me how someone on assistence can come up with 125 buck? duh, of course hes collecting and workin under the table. to top it off his future wife that we are probably payin for the weddin for next month had two kids we paid for her to have and she babysits under the table. sorry, on a rant guys! who the hell was that guy that use to be on Tv and the radio with '' You know what makes me sick''?????
  2. same here. with the heat lately i havent felt like doing shit. been hanging out and on the computer as u can see.
  3. boy that was a cold ass morning. had to give her some either that am. was covered with frost.
  4. east bound and down, right passed a Trooper and a Sheriff with an uninsured unregistered trailer. old Fetterly would be proud

  6. ''A Legend and a Ottawa bum look alot alike Daddy''.... ''blocker, just like fred and Ginger and Lester and Earle....''
  7. yup, rob is right, you need the crank hub and pulleys as well as a shorter waterpump USUALLY. we put a 675tb in B68 that came from a 69 DM and it already had the shorter water pump. just had the take off the power steering pump and change the crank hub as well as the pulleys on the waterpump and crank. the R models usually have a longer crank hub and a 3 or 4 groove pulley that wont fit behind the radiator of a B model. the radiator support crossmember might have to be shimmed out 1/4 inch as well. most B61's had 1/4 inch shims between the front spring hangers and the radiator crossmember(the one with 5 or 2 holes in the front) to space it out from the engine. i learned this the hard way when tryin to change a fan belt after the fact. of course being a 707 it might already have the shims in it. Matt
  8. yup had me scratchin my head. a 291 331 and 401 all had the tr77 series small transmission behind them, i assume you TR73 is a spicer unit as thats what most B 20 s and B 30's had in them with a two speed rear. the TR72 series is huge and would not bolt up to that engine. the 72 series was in most B50's and up trucks, the 40's and smaller had the TR77 mostly. ive seen some varients as a B61 with a TR67 series and adapter plate. this was also used in a lot of B62's and B68's and had the smaller yolks and universal joints to. i think i would just switch the rear, should be able leave hangers and springs intact and told another housin up as most are universal. we changed the hogs head in a B42T and put a B61 one in which is a 4.62 ratio. its good around town with a direct tranny but i wouldnt wanna pull any weight for it.
  9. there was a B81 with an automatic at Macungiie a few years back. I was told the guy wanted it and paid a few thousand dollares just for the bell housing to put it in.
  10. have a good single reduction hogs head and housing from the B42 we are repowering. hate to throw it in the junk pile as the teeth all look good and figured someone might want or need it, its slow 6.17 ration but the teeth and grease looked good and its too good to junk. might even fit smaller A or E models, i dont know. located in upstate ny. may be able to deliver depending on location. i believe it may be a 18000 lb rear as it doesnt have the thicker supports in side on the flange that the double reduction bearings rest against but is a Mack stamped housin. just the hogs head and housing . Matt
  11. yup, stainless bolts to re attach! i tried to usie stainless bolts on everything i could on my b model when i out it back together. fender bolts and everything you see. think i spent over a grand just in hardware
  12. i thought he was on the rught track getting near the rear tires and checkin out the rear end myself....
  13. all the stray dogs would come home...
  14. pretty odd if your little B20 has a 72 series transmission. should have a little 4 speed spicer or a TR77 series of something. if you could find a double overdrive baby quad it would probably bolt right in . not certain but if it has a single reduction rear end the housin is different on the inside and doesnt have the supports for a double reduction hogs head to bolt in. the hogs head is made to fit in the housing tightliy with the supports on the sides of the bearing cages and they fit against the housing. not that it matters but im thinkin higher gear hogs head might be scarce for that.
  15. sooooooooooooooommmeeday
  16. that trucks been done for a while. was a write up a long time ago of it and the owner in double clutch or wheels of time i think. wish i could find me some B 43 emblems . lookin for a few pair but i think most of the B43's were exported for some reason and went to australia and overseas when new
  17. i was so in aw of seein another B model on the thruway at the same time i couldnt even wave. i was in shock haha probably first time two b models have passed each other on the thruway in 40 years
  18. John, Heavyhauler. i believe i saw your L model on Matt Pfahl's lowboy sunday around 10 on the New York thruway around Syracuse. he was headed eastbound and i was headed west in my B Model going to the show.
  19. soak those catches up and heat the nut a little with a small torch and use a phillips but for a 3/8 ratchet instead of a screwdriver, they have more bite
  20. detuned 673 which only had 150 hp and most had an adapter plate with the 67 series transmission. im lookin for a pair of B43 emblems if anyone ever runs across them.
  21. the B 81 is just sweet. too bad Tidewater mack isnt around. they use to sell that whole front fender kis for $1000. i noticed the grille in the ex firetruck but what about the old school metal round dash thats the new Mack r model dark charcoal color? someone went through alot of work to repaint that and looks like they took it all apart and took all the switches and stuff out and it had the newer R model padded doors
  22. the blue one was pretty nice. had a beige interior with the metallic blue it drew a lot of attention. the owners father bought two just like it brand new from East Syracuse truck sales and were leased to Chemical Leeman then A R Gundry
  23. the B75 was pretty nice, had a 300+ under the hood with air ride and super singles
  24. think i bought my A and D service wrecker off amazon.com as it was cheap there. i remember when they were still runnin those trucks and had a crapload of spare cabs up on shelves outside. ill have to take some pics of my collection. think i have the pullin for malcolm r models and a few b models along with the high feature yellow tow truck. still lookin to get the Texaco tow truck someday.
