  1. again, pictures....
  2. the countersunk lens ones are available in steel or aluminum. not sure if grote makes aluminum. I know signal stat does
  3. I looked at that green R last year. whats the story with the oddball fuel tanks and the non Make , International looking front hubs??
  4. the countersunk ones are more period correct than the cheapie looking 70's and 80's flush ones
  5. I'm a diehard gm guy and own a few f bodies and a 77 truck. I think the doors on 72-92 Camaros and firebirds were sagging on the assembly line and I think the 73-87 trucks were starting to rot on the car carriers.....still love em tho
  6. weren't they sold at auction last year with a bunch of trailers and parts?
  7. shame that's been out in the weather. almost looks like someone rebuilt it
  8. Bills truckin and excavating also operates a wrecker to around the Cobleskil.Middleburg area. they also have a B42X that's green that I believe is an ex Eastern Rock Products truck out of Jordanville Ny, now known as Hanson
  9. both Goodyear diamond tread steers and diamond side traction tires seem to be appearing, surely there cant be this huge storage container with all old nos tires in it that aren't dry rotted????? for driving I prefer tubeless radials cause you can get one anywhere but for astetics there is nothing like the look of a sidewall of a tube type bias ply
  10. ha, parked our own, but did have a following. was at a country club and some people followed us thru town and to the club to check out the trucks
  11. ok, the line up left to right, 59 B613T end707 natural with 237 heads and head gaskets with fire rings and 15 speed triplex with 4.00 rear, 1960 b42 with en402 with 10 speed direct with 4.62 rear out of a B61 and 1963 B68 runnin a 237 with 18 speed double over quad with 4.28 diff with full locking rear...
  12. I took the one seal out of mine, run it in gear oil but was packed in grease when put together.... been good for 11,000 miles so far
  13. I gotta ask, where did you get the vintage Goodyear diamond tread steers and drive tires for your beautiful B73?
  14. yes, one year , a year or three ago it was sunny and hot as HELL in Lititz. actually went back to the car and changed into my shorts it was so bad.
  15. yup, we did it.... Macks included... and yes is says ''B'' Married for B models...... haha. the wedding party, my two step daughters and wife to be all arrived in B models......
  16. agree. that's one reason I hate parades. no one respects a big truck and with everyone throwin candy out for all the little kids to go get, you have to be on your toes not to run over any of them... most parade attendee kids around here are from families we support anyways and have no discipline or respect
  17. great show. I almost think they might have been close to a record for trucks this year. had a great time talkin to everyone. left about 330. had places to go and a new brewery not far away to check out......hope to see some of you guys in Lititz this weekend.
  18. not much more different than Bondo or drywall work..... you can always sand it off..... id rather use the Fuzor brand premixed resin at Napa tho than the old fashioned two part stuff. wear gloves, use a small chemical brush to push the resin into the fiber mat and smooth out with a bondo spreader. intimidating at first but not that bad
  19. 100? what a bargain . better see if they have two and sell one. most all R model interior plastic is long extinct and Volvo likes it that way
  20. yup, love that B. but I like them all..... tandem B61 with round tanks is pretty sweet tho
  21. yup, most likely failed, that's why someone unhooked it. doesn't matter which goes to which. new elements are available. could be opening a can of worms replacing it tho and getting it to not leak.
  22. yup, was for sale. id like to have it myself. hate to see the asking price. it has a 401 and 5 speed
  23. it could be 100 and 150 or 200,i forget the model numbers but it comes in a big packet and you put it in a canister type caulk gun. we use that we fiber tape on all gel coat, fiberglass and the weird plastic type truck hoods
  24. Napa around here sells some good bonding resin already pre mixed in packets you put in a caulk type gun. forget the brand but its pl100 and pl150 or something. one is stronger and one is heat activated to. that's mostly what we use for repairing truck hoods
  25. agree. I have a 4'' straight pipe on my 707/711. wears the hell out of you after about the 12th hill on the Pa turnpike headed to Allentown.....
