  1. agree. I'm partial to mine but that yellow one is sweet. if I didn't know better, it looks like I'm sittin behind my truck in an orange shirt with an adult beverage in my hand on page 11.............
  2. anyone know the final count?? I was 449 at 9 oclock Friday morning and I know they were lookin for more room to park them sat. place was mobbed more than I can ever remember. they even put a ban on golf cart use unless necessary. I think the golf carts are getting out of hand at most truck shows myself. lost of beautiful trucks as always and a few I have never seen before. probably the biggest let down was the Mack tour. they had it about cut into a quarter of what it usually is, didn't get to see much and then had to wait over an hour for a bus with a bunch of others while bus after bus took employees back and forth to the parkin lot to the front. lots of disorganization there!
  3. Nice someone brought up this topic again. I never really understood the Rs and Rl600 difference from the value liner. Bought a front clip from a scrapyard minus the cab and it was a 1980 Rs600lst but said value liner. I thought the value liner came out later?
  4. I feel your pain on that one Al . Have moved a few storage trailers with my B one was partially loaded. No jakes brake and shift your ass off
  5. probably the only thing you will miss is Ny Pizza Paul. good luck
  6. looks like a nice piece. about only thing id change is the ugly two spoke steering wheel Al
  7. yup they made 2, 4000 series Mike.
  8. aren't these still available from Mack Barry for the RD and RM800's?
  9. I know it was hot as hell so I'm thinkin we all met at the Fogelsville hotel a night of the Macungie show. thinkin it was a Friday? maybe things have changed a bit. it was a year or so ago and Vlad was present along with Ron
  10. we are staying at the Hawthorn. I remember a few years ago we all went to dinner at the Fogelsville Hotel. I know it was me and the wife, Randy, Ron and Vlad and a few others?? I forgot about the picnic. I was thinkin about leavin the truck at the show Friday and tryin to bum a ride back to hotel and from hotel to show sat morning?/
  11. thursday night yes, tilted kilt, no, remember a lil more family orientated. are we doing the Fogelsville hotel Friday night as usual???? just putting it out there.
  12. looks like a 711 to me with the filter up high. could be a real early 237 with the 711 style thermostat housing. looks like the stunt double truck also has 20'' hubs and the hero truck has 22''. you can tell by how short the front spoke is in the one pic
  13. got the tank for the air starter?
  14. pretty sure they are straight. I have bought regular rod ad threaded both ends before on a few B models. I know on my B613 the one right rod hit the tube for the air cleaner so I measure and bent a little offset in it and stuff works well.
  15. Looks aren't everything. as long as its maintained, no major oil or or air leaks, tires and brakes are good, there should be no problems. its the hack job mechanics that butcher stuff up that draw interest.
  16. yup, clear coat it with some low gloss or satin clear
  17. probably one of the ugliest Whites ever made in my opinion. basically a rebadged Reo. I heard it said somewhere you could have a Reo, White and Diamond Reo all come down the line one after another and all have a different emblem on the grille...
  18. juding by that oddball fuel tank, id almost bet your green truck is one from the Mason Dixon fleet
  19. if you bought it from Dennis, I'm sure its a bit higher than book value..... they should be good with that
  20. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere where ALL of those mason Dixon trucks with big radiators were scrapped......
  21. breaks my heart to see the Phantom 309 in that video and know what happened to it...... gotta be at least 78-79. theres a Superdog in it
  22. ex Carolina truck?? don't see many with those aluminum radiators. nice truck.
  23. and I remember when a Viking t bar was an 'upgrade' in a B model. maybe easily fitted but gotta be one of the most uncomfy pieces ever created for anyone over 150lbs....
  24. they still make Variprime? that use to be some good stuff. thought they got rid of it cause it had too many bad things that the tree huggers didn't like. another reason its hard to buy good clear coat now a days
