  1. yup, ill claim her. 1959 B613T originally with 673t and triplex, now with end707 and triplex. maybe the near future, a 237......
  2. agree, the pinstriping really set that truck off
  3. must be a true B61LT with those dash board and fuel tanks. I have only ever seen that gauge arrangement on a B61LT. lookin for one of those dashes actually.
  4. we would all be interested in seein what he has. lets see some pictures please.
  5. that car hauler must have been like a sauna on a hot summer day. I know we have probably talked about it before but the school street Sterling has Alcoas on it, obviously not original as it probably had budds. do you think they changed all the wheels to put a modern stud or hub pilot on or is there a simpler way? just thrown it out there.
  6. that's the POS box. yup. hate those things Ron
  7. nothing wrong with an ''Earle Shieb preservation paint job'''. its the ones where they use spray foam, bondo and then paint over it that should be avoided ...
  8. pictures? 711 came out same year as the F model I think. tell tale signs are usually the crossmembers in the frame, the early ones had the two holes for air lines, later ones had the hole in the center and about 63-66 didn't have the indented weld joint on top of the crossmembers ., the R model style dome light instead of the twin porcelain ones , push button junk signal switch instead of column mount. sometimes hard to tell but most B models after 1960 had a gray painted diamond plate brake pedal instead of black also. and after 61 they went to the silve mack emblem with dog on top on the heater box instead of the black oval one.
  9. yup same with two or three piece rims ron! everyone calls them split rims! split rims have not been made for 50 years.
  10. B46 is a gasjob so the black know would be a hand throttle, middle knob is wiper switch, t handle to the left is a choke, bottom left flipper switch is a front brake air pressure limiting switch(for inclimate weather) and right bottom truck tractor protection is for trailer brakes(now a days used for releasing the trailer brakes)
  11. something is a miss with that truck. looks like B81 front axle, definitely has a b model air cleaner and I don't know how long Mack ran the elephant ears mounting for the trunion
  12. I run about 80 in the front of my B and 40psi in the back recaps......
  13. keep in mind the original paint was probably in 55 gallon drums and maybe not mixed continually. I have some very original B's with no metallic and some with metallic. the earlier ones were more metallic. some end of production ones had no metallic in them. one thing different is the modern paint. remember the original was shot in straight enamel and had little shine
  14. 410 was 413 Chrysler to. I know they put those in a few Dm's
  15. Rpi as in college in Troy Ny?? where was this show?
  16. some 400 series had the gasjob but they also had the Scania, 3208 cat and I even think a Detroit? what would a 477 have originally? I know the 237 is not original
  17. that needs to be parked between Gary Mahan's yellow and green water truck and Nuss's big mining truck
  18. might need to do some manifold shopping to get a 237 in there but its basically a bolt in fit. some early 237's used the bigger turbo and a manifold that mounted the turbo up high. the newer ones used the smaller turbo and it was mounted to the side more. they fit them in DM's, I'm sure it will fit in a B67
  19. I have a brand new 413 Chrysler for sale with all the mounts that came from a B42 conversion. this was a factory conversion back in the day to ditch the tired and underpowered 401 and 402
  20. 466 wont fit easy, water pump shaft is too long, and why would you wanna? open a can of worms with motor mounts and everything else. find a 237, drop it in with a few mods.
  21. most original B models would have a line of 'fans' behind them eager to pass now a days..... most would even probably tell you your number 1 when they passed you to
  22. Matt Pfahl had some nos floor pans years ago. I'm sure long gone but never know. they are not that hard to make yourself. most of them are covered with floor mat anyways
  23. yup, was in Lake George Ny then some broker had it out west I believe
  24. that thing sure skipped around the country til it got stripped! wow, looks like the crows been at it
  25. the 291 331 and 401 engines were Stamped Mack but were made by Continental. no B models came factory with a 413 Chrysler in them. maybe retrofitted at a dealer but no from the factory.
