  1. that's Mack yellow... kinda looks like our 1963 B42S with 402 and 14 speed baby quad
  2. bank has lots of money Vinster.... its only money... haha
  3. I was there Sunday.. looks like we also made the local newspaper....
  4. I remember that truck from one of the Mack books years ago. always liked the C models
  5. thanks. I never looked at the driver side Paul. I should have, looks like it has the B model emblem on the hood!
  6. I dare say they were on the line the same day Mike...
  7. cummins, eaton, Rockwell.. ok well wheres the Mack???
  8. wonder why it had a 40 gallon tank on pass side if it was a gas job? I highly doubt anyone would repower a diesel with a gas job but ya never know.
  9. took some pics of this gem at Gerharts junk yard out back. first thought it was a B75 but I looked and it had a 707 in it with a straight 5 speed. looked factory. doors were probably changed cause the tag said B60 but im thinkin this might be a B70 or B72??
  10. 285 Mike? with a 2 stick 6 speed?? never seen a 285 that color tho....
  11. well ill be..... that solves that
  12. what a honey Mike. is has that Mack Gasser look tho......
  13. and drop off that B613LST for me on the way Mike......
  14. I knew it was a 60 something . I didn't stay long. I took a bunch of pictures tho. I looked thru the building, didn't notice you anywhere.
  15. im still wrestling with the thought of how he made a thru shaft on a 9'' Ford rear?? unless it was just a fake shaft going to the back rear and it was for looks??
  16. never said I didn't have a good time...... I tolerate the cold, just remember past shows at Gerharts where I was glad I brought shorts.... talked to quite a few people myself, had a good time, I spent more time in the junkyard than at the restored trucks.
  17. yup, shorter water pump. he said this one was missin all together. hard to say what it had. most 237's I have came across already had the shorter water pump and only two groove pulleys tho. some had 3 grooves depending on if it had ac . I think either way 2 or 3 groove both had the fatter crank hub.
  18. wonder how he got the Cecio Brothers orange Mack out from them? I notice the Ralph Smith H62 in the background to. and I think the red A model with Harnden on the door is from the states??
  19. no intercooler or air to air is a 237.... I think a new waterpump is around 50 bucks larry. I know you need your 673 crank hub as its shorter. the 237 one is for a 3 groove pulley and theres not enough room between the dampner and the radiator crossmember. that water rail and oil cooler and filter setup is pretty commom also, but like we all know, non exhistent when your lookin for it. my cousin is runnin the smaller B61 radiator(the one that doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the horsecollar) with a 237 and it doesn't run hot. if your rad is in good condition you shouldn't have a problem.
  20. we drove 5 hours down, walked around for 2 hours, froze, then stopped at the choc factory THEN to the Brewery in Lititz then home... barely any trucks there but did find Vinny in the boneyard drooling behind the wheel of the yellow V8 U model.....
  21. they use to be a Dodge dealer I believe before the Chevy Franchise. in the showroom is a pic of this truck brand new with Dodge Sales and Service on the side.
  22. M W Roosevelt and Sons.... Palatine Bridge Ny, before they moved to Canajoharie
  23. agree, looks like a Dmm hood on a Dm. the hood to fender line is screwed up
  24. I have heard rumor a 237 or 300 will suck the oil out of the oil bath turbo air cleaner on a B. might be worth changing to a paper filter rather than having the engine take off on you.
  25. good old place where I just started to work today..... small world...... they were a Chevy Olds dealer for years and years and have tons and tons of NOS parts stashed away. they had their franchise bought out by FuyouCillo....
