  1. both of those yellow dump trucks look pretty solid. the different color log truck apprears to be a B615? doesn't look to have the fender filler panels and the yellow truck seems to have shorter filler panels? maybe its the angle of the pics
  2. Utica use to be good back in the day. there were a few parts guys that would bend over backwards, after that you couldn't get a battery terminal without a Vin number.
  3. got one myself. with about 100 miles on it, on stand complete carb to muffler with all the mounts to put it in a B model and was thinking around a $800- $1000
  4. liking the blue myself. did you have that bumper made up with the foot holes in it?
  5. wow look at the ballast fuel tank on the pass side of that tandem green truck......
  6. I didn't think Utica Mack was good for anything but making hydraulic lines and selling mudflaps...
  7. id take the B, least it will run...
  8. don't make it too rare Mike, the price will double soon!
  9. might be better off finding good used. they new ones the stamping sucks on and you can hardly read MACK
  10. ok maybe i should add STOCK Macks had 3 5/8 spacers with 10.00 x 20 or 22s or 11 22.5's or 11 24.5 tires.. when you ran 11.00 20s or 12.00 20s or bigger 22's you have to run a 4'' spacer and run shorter wedges to get the DOT approved space between the tires when they squish with weight.
  11. yup, location would help. bout as useless as someone sellin something on Ebay and when I go to look it says Unites States as location
  12. I think he is looking for 22'' or 24.5 . might be easier to find a doner axle complete Rudy
  13. I have used the D shaped hollow R model door rubber in a B model Larry. it works. does make the door close a little differently than the solid foam core that was originally in there. most restoration places sell the foam core. its 3/4 wide by 1/2 thick I believe.
  14. all that shiny aluminum means one thing... LOTS of BLACK BOOGERS!!!
  15. nothing like the look of tube type bias ply on an old truck. looks like that silver Super might have some bearing issues when they got where theyre going. looks like the grease keeper cap leaked a lil when they pulled the axle out.
  16. been toying with the idea of putting a turbo on my END707 (same as a 711 but mine had the maxidyne gaskets an fire rings and is 200hp instead of 211) but id have to ditch my split intake setup and don't really know what turbo to put on. I have a few complete turbo setups off 237's but dunno if they'd work.
  17. on a dump truck it should be mounted to the front of the treadle valve. I think only road tractors had them mounted in the air line behind the cab
  18. there have been many discussions on this topic. on the older late 50's early 60's end673T motor they were the same except for the setting on the pump I think.. the later 60's they came out with the endt673 b and endt673c motors which had oil cooled pistons and fire rings and the Maxidyne style head gasket instead of the old copper one.. the older version without the piston squirters and fire rings on the heads were troublesome when they turboed them.
  19. think they were All installed vertical and pointing down. very few I have seen in factor photos were mounted horizontal.
  20. nice lookin truck. bout the only think I don't like the the damn door handle upside down on the inside. don't know why people do that, guess its a preference.
  21. nope and the biggest problem with Daytons is no one cleans the hub!. if you change an outside tire, you should take the spacer off, and the other tire. wire brush the flat surfaces and put it back together clean. once you break the outside tire loose, usually dirt and rust get behind the inside one and it wont tighten properly. like the guys said, the heel part of the wedge doesn't need to touch the hub, if it does and the rims are loose, then the angled part of the wedge is worn. you can always grind a little bit off and get away with. most Macks all had 3 5/8s spacers to unless they had say wider tires on the rear. lots of times guys change the tires and screw up the spacer and put a 4'' one on and screws everything up.
  22. id love to our your collection someday Mike but im afraid id fall in love with a few dozen and wanna bring them home....
  23. yup. look like National seats. wonder how they got the bulldog embossed in them? I think that's special order
  24. Brown bottle flu?? i know i have had that a few times.
