  1. the short 55 gallon ones are pretty scarce Larry and even more scarce if you try to find a short drivers side one as the shorter ones were usually passenger only. I know I have run across them and guys usually want around 400 a piece for them. the bolt patterns are different also from the square tank to the round. the step would be off if you put a pass side one on the drivers side to. I have been lookin for a short pass round one for some time now and they seem to be made of gold when you do find them.
  2. yup the mats can be a pita to do and get right. the clutch and steering column along with the e brake and shifting levers had a heavy 1/4 foam around them to stop the air flow . some of the shifting lever sealin pads were actually screwed to the floor board with another piece of sheet metal over them.
  3. sell it to me, for a dollar and ill take care of shipping costs and give it a good home ....
  4. does your B615 have a removeable doghouse Leslie? seems to me I remember seein a B615 and maybe the doghouse was different? maybe bigger?
  5. yup cause New York just wants to screw you.... I remember when the Penn welcome sign use to read ''Welcome to Pennsylvania, America Starts Here''...
  6. but not too reasonable to ship back up north.....
  7. yup, had a 401. don't think a diesel or overhead bigger gas will fit.
  8. it not my height or legs that the problem. more of a problem with my gut being too close to the steering wheel.....
  9. so any updates on this topic? any pics Al?
  10. leave it all burnt , new glass, new chrome, be a B model version of Christine.
  11. AND the original bumper in chrome?! ugh some guys have all the luck
  12. im jealous to. why cant I ever have unanswered prayers like that???? I need a B615 tandem or B75 in my stable
  13. dont care how straight it is, with that boat anchor gutless 401, its still only a 5k truck tops with the tilt bed
  14. Yuengling is way down in Fla. had it there this past winter when we were down. been by the brewery in Pottsville by accident, got lost, should have stopped.
  15. there was also a 225 version of the thermodyne
  16. nice to see PBR up there along with Yuengling. don't care for anything Anheuser busch or anything from Boston....
  17. gotta say I think I liked it more before they stretched the frame and put the bigger bunk on. also looks like it has tube type on the front in one picture with the white letters painted on the tires? the more I look the more cool features I see like the chrome lockin strip around the windshield rubber or the chrome Dayton rims on the back
  18. its a major operation putting a maxitorque 5 speed in a B model. the motor mounts have to be changed on the frame, new holes drilled and like he said the clutch is also an issue unless you bolt up a swing down clutch pedal out of an R model. I also think the shifting lever is far enough back where it will be into the cab floor board piece a little and not the removeable section. I think id either just leave it in high and don't mash it or have the pump set to 673c Thermodyne specs
  19. wish someone would buy this one up already. been on there for over a year now for sale.besides the frame being hacked over and over, the rest looks fixable. also looks like it says B73 but has a Mack in it.
  20. almost makes you cry how that truck ended up Al.....
  21. I like the olive drab color myself. doesn't look bad clean. I think they only painted them olive drab in 71-72??. interesting fact is the mint green color is similar to the 360 Brockway cabs also.....??
  22. that low price and with a box, an exporter will probably grab it up. something doesn't jive tho. should be an R612 or R686 with that engine....
  23. and theres that funky hood trim that Mike was talking about...
  24. have a straight pipe on my B613 with end707. after a 8 mile uphill grade on the Pa Turnpike, your pretty sick of it...
