  1. restored. pretty sure it was a white B61 with dark blue body maybe and frame? I think it was on budds. was at the Syracuse show in 03 if I remember. im thinkin it said LTS enterprises on the door. think they have since sold it. I have to see if I have a pic of it.
  2. just wondering what you guys opinions are about people posting something they found on ebay or craigslist on here. my opinion is the fun is in the hunt and I like to find stuff myself. sometimes I get pissed when im biddin on something on ebay and then its posted on here a day or two later and I get outbid for a dollar. I have also found something on craigslist at night, didn't wanna call the person late so called the next day only to find out it was posted on here or another site and all the world knew about it. I know its the name of the game and first come first served but sometimes pees in my Wheaties when I have been watchin something for days on ebay and go to bid and its posted on here and all of a sudden gets a ton of action after days and days of non bids
  3. fair warning, we DONT like to give info out without pictures!! we love pictures haha
  4. yup I know there was at least two different integral sleeper manufacturers.
  5. what he said, takes a lot to seize up an oily old Mack diesel and the auxillary shifter doesn't go into the box, goes to the rods like he said, very common for them t get worn and stuck between gears. could also not all be lined up, cause your dry shifting it.
  6. LTS use to have a nice white B models years ago didn't they?
  7. you and me both. im still lookin but not too hard for a power steering box for a 66 R600
  8. pretty nice. makes ya wonder how something like that survived and is in perfect patina without even the frame all cobbled up. think the only thing id do is reupholster the seat and spray the while thing down with wd40 or fluid film
  9. yup most truck double frames in upstate Ny look that way after a year or two
  10. I remember seein that B in Syracuse about 10 years ago, I think it has one of those weird 10 speed duplexes in it with the 3 way aux. someone on here had a pic o the shifting pattern. use to sit with another B I think
  11. kinda thought snap binders were a No No in recent years with the DOT? least I know we don't use them when moving Dozers or lifts. Ratchet binders can be a pita if you go to use them and he last guy only loosened them enough to get the thing unhooked then threw it in he box, especially when your in a hurry. I like the ratchet binders with the hand that folds away myself.
  12. thats the one. knew it had some kinda roll off body on it. always thought they had a Rockwell front axle like the B53's with the straight beam but I guess not
  13. there is usually one b57 that comes to Macungie every year. has a Doug Fetterly stainless bumper and chrome shell. I think it might be blue with a rollback body on it? pretty sure its a B57
  14. agree totally with all of ya. need to start implementing death row in all states. and I don't mean the death row where they sit there waiting to get executed for 10 years. they kill someone or attempt to, kill them, simple. make the rest of these dirtbags think about the consequences of their actions before they do them instead of the worst thing that happens is they go to jail for a few months, get to watch cable, have internet and library access along with a gym.
  15. I think the B53 had had the fish belly frame and the B57 had the single frame with fish plated sides and the cheaper 34 rears on walkin beams with wedge brakes?? B67 was the single axle version and B57 was the tandem axle version. I know that was the main difference in a B42s and B421s. B42 came with camelbacks on 38's standard with a double frame and the B421 you could get camelbacks and 38's or walkin beams with wedge brakes and a single frame fish plated. use to be a B57 around Poland Ny with a 237 or 300 under the hood, on 44's with a roadranger still workin. truck would run 80mph easy.
  16. good save. nice truck, id still personally keep the budd fronts, kinda rare on a Hayward truck
  17. totally agree Mowerman. they seem to treat the packages like shit in the past few years
  18. Ny is pretty easy. pencil etching of frame vin, few papers and you have a registration. your better off without a bill of sale actually to in Ny
  19. hmmmph pretty sure you CANNOT engage an air or any starter while driving down the road to scare cows... just my opinion....
  20. the 413 was the factory option for a R410. don't think they ever put a small block dodge in from the factory.
  21. looks like a standard gasjob.naturaly aspirated B model air cleaner to me that's been modified to suck more air... it wouldn't work out up north like that cause it wold suck in all the snow in the winter, that's why they had a flipper next to the cowl on the air cleaner to changed from summer to winter. the newer B models, 63 and up had a cable in the dash and went out to the flipper.
  22. yup, probably dealer repowered. most of those 540's and 464's got 2mpg loaded or empty.....
  23. so that's the one that came from the west coast and was in a storage building for years?
  24. how come that truck look so familiar?? must be a half dozen B75 series painted just like that. think oldmcks.com has one and there was another one for sale not too long ago with a cummins
  25. just don't sell it in a few months, or im gonna start callin you Resale Dog...
