  1. so what makes it a 606? the auto trans?
  2. honestly, I always hated the looks of that F model style grille in an R model. personal opinion tho
  3. wouldn't be much of a loss there anyways Mike. scavenging money or the yella F model??
  4. looks like any road in Upstate Ny to me...
  5. maybe my eyes are not that good but looks to have a triple frame in one pic and a double in another. maybe its where thr trunion is mounted. had 55,000 rears in it, most likely a 673 natural with a 20 speed direct. will move a mountain but will be a 52mph truck tops. still a nice base for a project. triple frames are getting harder to find not all spread. realistically probably a 2-3 grand truck if the front sheet metal and cab floor is not shot
  6. think that truck was on ebay a month or so back.
  7. 4.00 with a 673 and duplex might be at the end of the power band. they usually ran about a 4.28 max
  8. when I was at Macungie years ago no matter what color the R models were, the firewalls were black. not sure what years Mack started this but he ones from the 60's , the firewalls were painted same color as the outside of the cab
  9. watts does. that ones of the items that the pins aren't screwed up on and fit the original holes. the thermodyne and diesels you needs o test fit before paint
  10. looks like he had 3-4 B models. I see a black one behind that B67 and the B67 listed must be a B673 as it has a turbo air cleaner. looks restorable
  11. pretty rare to see any of those tilt cab chevys anymore. use to be popular here on the east coast as home heating delivery trucks. some had 366's in them but some actually had a 409
  12. 13 speed triplex is kinda rare behind a cummins in my book.
  13. is that how your gonna explain 1 more Mike??
  14. id drain it and put 15/40 in it. might tighten it up and might stop the leaks
  15. on a lot of old B models, you can look inside the bumper bracket (the newer ones with the angle iron spacer, no the older ones with a pipe spacer) and you could see the word Bethlehem written. must just happen to be where they sheered it off.
  16. atf usually makes it steer too easy and gives a worn out feelin like a worn out old Ford truck steering box. I don't think the atf or ps fluid is thick enough for an older system like that.
  17. moth balls must be about the worst smell in the world, maybe besides the slurie shit they spray on the fields up here in Ny. not much worse than critters in your ride
  18. god what I would do for that green R700. what a honey
  19. someone is gonna kill me but wheres is it located??
  20. after all these years, she is smarter than the average bear......
  21. last year was my first year there and even tho we didn't bring a truck its a very nice show. there is a brewery in downtown Lititz(surprise vinny right?) that we stopped at for good food and a cocktail and there is a good choc factory a few blocks over. worth stopping in in my opinion. we plan on comin dow for the day again but just driving the Iroc down, not takin the truck. anyone have any suggestions on directions from the north ? im comin down 81 from Ny and last year it seems we took the round about way to get to the show and there was a few detours.
  22. nope, not married haha
  23. wow never knew IH made that Tiltmaster with the R190 cab and fenders on it. never seen one before
  24. i see boobs at home all the time, and i can touch them anytime i want without getting arrested......., i vote for the Fogelsville hotel for dinner.... IF i go. when i called to make reservations for the show they told me they were booked and no room, but to fax my reservation form in anyways. still have not heard anything back yet
  25. i remember that one. wasn't it pretty rusty??
