  1. agree. subtle lights are ok. I have green 18'' led strip lights under the fenders of my B and also under the rockers so they shine on the fuel tanks at night. was thinkin of another pair of strips and that's it.
  2. S is for tandem. SX is for heavy tandem. X usually meant single axle double frame. could have started out as a tandem and someone made a single out of it. A models are one of my favorites and like others said seem to be gaining interest.
  3. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. believe Coker has 10.00 22's on their website?? maybe Chinese or maybe just military tread? not sure
  5. not 10.00 22's . maybe able to find 10.00 20's
  6. B model tanks are not that hard to cut apart. I have done several. fill with water, grind the welds down smooth on the end caps, use a new wheel with a square edge around the front diamond plate. mark a line around the middle of the weld and tank with a sharpie and cut it with a sawsall. then you can sandblast the inside. I usually get some sealer from Napa or Eastwood. the red gas tank sealer from Napa is good stuff. brush the inside. leave it about an inch or two away from the end where your gonna weld. then weld or have someone weld the end caps back on. let it cool and pour some more sealer inside and roll it around to coat where you welded. AIR TEST it with about 5psi of pressure and soapy water to check for leaks. then your ready to paint. its worth it to have a clean tank inside. also gives you a chance to cut the tag off (where all the b models rust behind the tank tag) and cut the rot out and weld a patch.
  7. looks like it got left on the side of the Jersey Turnpike or the LIE too long......
  8. Coker tire makes hotrod tires that look old school bias ply but are tubeless.
  9. did that with my Silverado about 2 years ago myself.. it didnt like it either, so hooked it on the Mack, pulled it out, made a big mess just like you did all over the sidewalk and grass. that lead to a new sidewalk, retaining wall, topsoil, deck, etc. . .
  10. looks like a nice truck, needs some work to make her pedigreed again. but god do I hate when someone paints the inside of a B model cab red or black..
  11. ex Chicago fire B70 series im thinking....
  12. agree with bubblegum country. country music ended about the mid 90's as far as I can tell.
  13. one clip in Convoy when they show the inside of the truck I think it has one of those air clutchs. it def has two treadle valves in it. oddball.
