  1. im planning on going. might stay in A town for the night and go t the Brewery, I know Vinny, big surprise! haha. its the better half's birthday the 20th. tryin to convince her this is her Birthday present.....
  2. here we go again!!!!!
  3. nice. so I that a F model grille in that truck? or did some r models come with that indented style grille? I think we have talked about this before
  4. must be a Ny thruway thing green giant... they rolled about the same Machine over in Canajoharie right next to the thruway about 3 weeks ago workin on the by the sewer plant....
  5. there were no foreign manufactured B models that I know of. that air cleanr bonnet is original. many trucks had that top hat style bonnet instead of the hubcap style. many B421's and B20's and B30's came thru bald on the roof with no marker lights. im guessin it was spec'ed for snowplow use or something? there is pictures in the B model archive book with blank headlight panels and separate L model style ones mounted on the bumper because the truck was too high for a standard one. im guessin this was a predecessor to that?
  6. you and me both Vinster. round headlite Superdog with a v8. one of my dream trucks, next to a b75 and a b81
  7. yup, and Ny has some of the worst roads in the 50 states. how about that stretch from Binghamton Ny to Oneonta? aka ''the thump thump road''. that will rattle your teeth. so bad there is actually grass growin in the cracks.
  8. yup, was gonna say definitely not a 56 with the low trunion crossmember and the air horns not on a pedestal. still a nice piece. id put a box on it with some flared fenders and some floaters.
  9. looks like that poor Superdog went up, and came back down and bend the frame in the front. cab to hood line is all snafu now.
  10. that White one came from New Hampshire. hauled cardboard all its life. pretty clean truck with a level 4 interior . found it on ebay about 4 years ago.
  11. Superdog Mike had some of those fenders for sale a while back, fixable.... B53's were a different B model all together.
  12. yup exactly. Ny has been that way for ever. way back in the 50's. use to be if you bought a truck the Ny Dmv would run the Vin and if the Vin shows that the previous owner owed HUT tax, you would have to pay it before they would let you register it. same way with Antique trucks. when I went to register my B model, they ran the serial number to see if there was any Hut tax owed on it. what BS
  13. nice to see an older DM still on the road. that R model style mirror bracket might get some passer bys attention on the driver side tho!
  14. 300 is a bargain, at least you can still get it. I have tied reusing the old brittle gasket, they always leak even with sealer and good luck seaming aftermarket gasket together in the center and getting it not to leak. its a formed gasket. im sure it fit something else over the years like a Dodge D100 cab forward pickup like Bill Goldens or the Ford version .
  15. the truck is no longer for fucking sale! get off, quit responding to EVERY for sale ad from 3 yeas ago and go back to Kenya with the rest of your vulcher buddies!
  16. how do I block someone??!!
  17. probably not quite a ton. I actually think the old 18 and 20 speed quadboxes actually weighed a few pounds more than the engines did. id love to have it but shippin to Ny would make it not worth it
  18. i think we are all on the same page here. exporter, we need a dislike button to click on here
  19. I tried getting a pair of 100 anniversary quarter fenders back when they came out. they were extinct back then
  20. its dirty... this was about 5 years ago. old Macks leak oil like an old Panhead
  21. be a shame to scrap that. geesh, give us time its only been a day. if it want on the other side of the country id have it by now.
  22. 67 series in a B67 would come straight out. its the B67's that had the 72 series that you always banged your elbow on the back window
  23. always wondered that myself Joe .any TR72 series transmission they should come straight out of the floor.
  24. I always thought it was odd that Sid's B81 sits on 20'' rubber while his B61SX sits on 24''. nice trucks either way
  25. you could always C notch the frame like the hotrod guys to FWD ......
