yup, agree, those are nice flaps, I have seen them in green and blue also but only in the hard plactic, not rubber. had the same problem with our 72 DM. put a master kill switch on it and cured the problem. I think you could also find it pretty easily with what J said. or undo the battery cable and touch it to the terminal on the batter, if it sparks you def know you have draw there

he bucket to the panel you mean? believe there is 6 holes, 3 hold the bucket to the panel first, then you stagger and the other 3 hold the trim ring on along with hold the headlight bucket in.

the county highway dept up here had a 'driver' leave the tailgate open last summer hauling sand, never noticed it after leaving the yard and right thru the village. spread sand all thru the village and up about 5 miles of state road before he realized it... agree. I always try to find a parkin spot with at least one side twards the grass, curb whatever, and never ever park by the cart corral. bitch at the misses when she wheels in next to the corral. remember few years ago repainted my 86 Iroc Z nice and fresh black again, new decals and all, parked away from everyone, came out to find some cocky asshole parked next to me with a door ding in my door. I rent machinery and run a carwash. sounds like the plugers are stuck I the pump. pretty common lately with the Low sulfer diesel. not enough lube in it anymore. take the side cover off the pump and crank it over and make sure the springs an plungers are moving up and down. if not, take a screwdriver and hammer and stick it in between the springs and lightly tap down on it with the hammer. might need to soak it up also with some pb blaster. I usually put Lucas in my fuel tank everytime I get fuel now a days.
