If I remember correctly that is just a length of 5/8" UNF all thread running through a schedule 80 or 120 pipe that has some really heavy washers welded to it. Same setup used on RD and DM chassis.

Take it off and the plates/spacer between it and the transmission case . It's a gear adapter for the PTO. You should be looking at the bare aluminum of the case when you bolt the cover on.

I don't mean to say the chassis is generic, a CH600 is just a general description of the chassis series. The first number in the model indicates frame type. 600 is a highway frame, 700 is vocational/construction frame, 400 is light duty frame. The second number indicates engine manufacturer. 1 is Mack, 2 is Renault, 3 is Cummins, 4 is Detroit, 5 is Caterpillar The third number indicates the total number of axles. I think they started using this model system sometime in the 1980's and continue to use it in a slightly modified form today. This method of model identification only covers some chassis. The R, RB, RD, RM, DM, U, MB, MC, MR use a different method of ID where the first number identifies the chassis series and the second and third identify the engine.

600 is a generic model description. A CH613 has 2 drive axles and 1 steer axle (6 X 2 chassis), a CH612 has 1 drive axle and 1 steer axle (4 X 2 chassis). The same rules apply to most newer models.

The picture is from a B755 parts book. When I looked it up it was also used on a 1993 MR, so you might be able to find one across a number of different chassis. The part number was 24QE1166P1.

No, the aftertreatment system monitors NOx reduction efficiency and calculates DEF quality based on that. If the DEF is not of the correct quality an "inducement" occurs.

I think that's probably 6BB110T6820-1. See if there's a 313GC number stamped next to "customer number" on the tag

I can't make out the numbers on your pump tag from the picture.

Look at the tag on the fuel pump and get the numbers off of it if possible.

Thrawn, if it's binding every 90 degrees look at the u-joints in the steering column, if it's every 180 degrees check the timing on the steering shafts. Another place that sometimes causes a bind is the carrier bearing on the steering shaft. Here's a bulletin that may help. The information is specifically for a CV chassis, but the principles should carry over. And another thing, is that a baby smoking a pipe or a leprechaun? Ernie, I don't know if there is another way to do it (I don't see the old button to add media), but I was able to add a video to my gallery by doing this: Click the "Gallery" button at the header along the top of the screen On the next screen click the "Upload" button to the far right side You should be on the page for uploading media to your gallery, select either to create a new album or add to an existing one. Once you do, a dialog box will pop up. Enter the information in the fields, don't forget to select a Parent Album, make sure to make it a Public Album so everyone can see it, and click the save button. You will now go to a new screen where you can upload your video. Now get that V12 video up here, we can't wait to see it.

We did one in our shop but I wasn't directly involved in it. I remember it got pretty hairy because the customer wanted to be able to remove the 5th wheel and install a body load water tank whenever he needed to. Kind of a quick change setup.
