See if a Mack Dealer can/will give you the warranty repair history on the truck. Typical issues would include turbo failures, cam failures, and exhaust leaks. At 875,ooo miles I would be looking at least at some EUP (unit pump) replacements if they haven't been done lately.

Axles (Eight 9/16-inch Studs) 100–125 ft lbs 44,000–52,000 lb. Axles (Six 5/8-inch Studs with Conical Washers) 118–142 ft lbs Drive Flange Retaining Nuts for Two-Piece Splined Shafts 140–171 ft lbs.

I went to Google Maps street view of the Mack Trucks World Headquarters building in Allentown. The address is 2110 Mack Blvd, Allentown PA. There's a gray CHN parked just behind the gold bulldog in the driveway that kind of looks like your truck.

You are not checking the high pressure fuel coming out of the pump going to the injectors here, you're checking fuel supply pressure to the pump. If it is low there may be a problem with the tranfer pump, restricted lines, or something else. Be careful with adjusting pump timing. I've seen guys that "knew" what they were doing that wrecked brand new reman engines (1 hour total run time) and turned the pistons in another one into the liquid type. These were out of time by quite a lot, in the case of the reman engine about 45 degrees, FJH is probably right with as far as you could safely go, but I wouldn't go too much past the factory spec. Check the tag on the pump and see what it says as far as timing. How exactly are you checking the pump to engine timing?

Actually, I think the corporate strategy may have changed a bit. We're now also supplying BP with the "composite aggregate materials" that will be used to "synthesize an engineered compound" for plugging the well, Randy is personally overseeing the "mineral and element extraction and relocation" phase of the project. From the Mack service manual 13-105: "The frictional forces created by loads imposed on the cams and wedges cause moderate scoring on the highly stressed rubbing surfaces of cam tracks. This is a normal condition. Replace the affected cam and wedge items only if working surfaces are badly worn, pitted, scored or cracked. Replace the driving cage member if it is damaged or the wedge hole diameter has worn more than 0.010 inch (0.25 mm) over the original limit. Never run new wedges against a used inner cam or vice versa. It is permissible, however, to use slightly worn outer cams and driving cages during rebuild. Always replace wedges in matched sets. Do not mix wedges from different sets."
