  8. Welcome to the New World Order as ruled by Volvo. Nothing pisses Volvo off more than having to supply simple maintenance parts for our old Macks that keep on going and going year after year while their newer products fall to pieces in months.

  15. 48"x33" if I remember right
  16. not in these new 17 digit excuse for a VIN number, the old pre '81 numbers told you alot more.
  17. That a sweetheart,if you don't buy it please let us know. That PTO on top the aux.trans. was called a power tower, very common on the old oilfield rigs for running winches.
  18. 1988 Mack RW613 chassis # 4957
  19. My son stopped by Sat. at noon and said he didn't see anybody taking pics. He also said he was very disappointed with the lack of knowledge of the Mack crew manning the display. Mikey mentioned something about a B model, and the guy asked him what that was and if there was a pic of one on their display wall,WTF,really? I know they are there to push new,but I'd be damned embarrassed if I didn't know the product I was pushing history ..He did bring me one of the new hatpins.
  20. Friend of mine sent me this link, gotta be an old Roadway U.Of course they've got the year wrong. http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=4997413

  22. Didn't one of the Burch's pass away recently?
  23. I've been having trouble too, couldn't post nothing, but my daughter the genius just got that working for me again. Don't ask me what she did,I couldn't repeat what she told me if I wanted too.
  24. my 86 had an aluminum frame, but was rerailed(not cheap). I'd stick with steel for a work truck. Even if you can't see any problems yet,it could be hiding a lot, like under the 5th wheel plate and spring hangers, something you wouldn't see unless you pulled them off. if it was 5o 10 years old maybe, but it's bumping 30.
