  1. That's nice work. Rare long left fuel tank. Did you use half a back window for your 1/4 windows??
  2. That looks really good.I've got a couple trucks with wedge front and s cam rear brakes, never understood why anyone would spec a truck that way.
  3. Damn Al,hate to see you selling all your goodies, everything OK?
  4. Unless something changes,my son is going.
  5. I drooled over that black one more than once when I was a kid.,May '76 as I recall it appeared in Overdrive, wonder where it is now?
  6. Well after today's events,I have the new logo figured out. The Bulldog is sitting there waiting for UPS to bring his parts. Seems that repair parts for 2007 Macks are NLA ,so you have to buy complete assemblies instead ,that are higher price,so the dealer doesn't keep it in stock,so your 2007 truck sits idle for 2 days.
  7. I've wrestled more than one around loading on a low trailer easily enough by myself. Then you have the weight of the support beams and other little misc.Like I said, just as well leave on,unless you are selling it,the changing to a non-sleeper can pay off.
  8. if you can find the Vin # it should start RS747 if it was built with a 290 Cummins.
  9. Here's a few I've seen on the internet. Most I don't like the looks of and I sure hope a really good truck wasn't chopped up to make them, but I do appreciate the work and talent it took to put them together . If junkyard bound parts can be used to put an old Mack back on the road,at least in part, that's a good thing .
  10. 600 to 800#,not enough to justify cost of removing,in my opinion,it will also make the ride a litle rougher.
  11. Last I talked to Tom,he had the B-815 sold.
  12. didn't WJ Casey used to be all Mack,or at least close to it? I remember a cover pic of one of there DM800's on Bulldog years ago,and a story inside about them.
  13. If you don't buy it,let me know.
  14. I don't like being forced to change either. 1992 2013
  15. says it got " a new 250 boosted to 380." .Well,I'm sure guess with no obvious mods to the front end they are talking about a new ENDT673C 250 hp,and not a 250 Cummins, but what in the world did they do back then to gain 130 extra hp?
  16. I showed this to my 14 yr old daughter, thought I'd get an opinion of someone that hasn't been staring over that proud dog's shoulder through a bug splattered windshield for 40 + years, she said " I see they have gone minimalistic " so I guess that's the nicest thing I can say about it. I'd bet 10 bucks the guy that designed this drives a Prius with a Obama bumper sticker and eats tofu.
  17. I can just see Zenon CR Hansen coming out of his grave and grabbing someone by the throat.
  18. air tanks,steering column,bell housing,bumper,bumper mounts,some had aluminum hoods.
  19. I'll be damned, musta been built April 1st,cause it sure don't make sense,I don't see any of the L specs.
  20. only thing missing is the diaginal line . Better stock up on mudflaps,I guess.
  21. that's the most heavy duty LST I've ever seen. I'm betting the title don't match the frame numbers
