  1. There are several B models that have disapperared that I would like to know where they went. There was a bullhauler out of Edwardville ,IL that had a olive green B61 with a Mercury sleeper that was beautiful,Aluminum wheels, anything that would unbolt was chromed, dual stacks.Same guy had a Magnum MH. Then there was a black B61 from Toledo,IA that had a 8v92 Detroit stuffed in it,48 in Double Eagle sleeper. Another I remember seing a time or two was a B77,brown with stripes, big bunk with a Clariben hood.,pulled a flatbed with sidekit. These were all daily runners in the late '80's.Wish I had pics.
  2. just a pic I had saved from the internet,I think it might have been from an old for sale ad somewhere.
  3. look close, you can see the flames on the fenders.
  4. 3500 before expenses,2000 for fuel,875 to the driver,250 to truck payment,200 for ins.,license,&permits.,250 for misc maintence exp, tire wear, oil, wear and tear on truck. That comes to $75 in the hole at the end of the week, sounds about right.
  5. I almost bought that yellow one from Roger when he put it up for sale, kinda wish I would have. I remember the green one being Tractor of the Month in Overdrive, when it was still a magazine. The owner had it leased to Waggoners Trucking. I think the blue and white one lost it's bunk last pic of it I saw. Good to see a pic of Walsh's again. He had a mint B42 also,as I recall.
  6. Was this truck a glider kit? That would explain the chrome Bulldog that's on it.
  7. if it is the pin froze, like Rob said, you might as well replace it,I always end up breaking the pedestal trying to free them up. Make sure you put some never seize on the new pin.
  8. anybody have any pics of Francis Walsh's B-773 or know what ever became of it ? Beautiful green and white with a big RestRite sleeper.
  9. I've seen that pic before too,if I remember right,it mentioned the truck was repowered with a 8V71 Detroit.
  10. Try these guys. http://stores.ebay.com/Radiators-US?_trksid=p2047675.l2563
  11. need to know anything else call me,3197591776
  12. This don't have anything to do with how it runs, but it's got damn near every piece of available SS trim you can get for one, also. Headlight trim, air intake trim, vents, chop tops and deflectors on the doors, bug shield, deep visor,it didn't have the cab skirt lights when we got it,so we swapped those out for one with lights. My son took the side extenders off the sleeper, but I will throw those in .,also have a Merritt headache rack I will throw in for an extra $500.
  13. 257" wheelbase air slide 5th wheel,70" sleeper, dual 125 gal. polished tanks,2 step boxes, tire chain rack,,SS half fenders,Custom Texas square bumper, custom SS grille, full locking rears,it's loaded. 1/3 price of a new one and no DPF or DEF to screw with.
  14. 2007 Mack Rawhide,485 hp E7,18 speed Fuller ,3:73 rears, air ride, recent turbo and clutch,11R22.5 Alcoa Dura-brite wheels, 603k miles. Different truck in the works, need to find a home for this one first. As far as newer trucks go,this one has been very reliable . We've lost most of the longer hauls and just don't need this much truck anymore.
  15. If this is true, please let it look like a truck and not like the awful looking contraptions the others brands are building.
  16. Welcome, please post some pics of your EF, I have a couple myself.
  17. That shoulda been hanging on the front of a Pete instead.
  18. Just got this from a friend of mine.. Ain't a Mack but it belonged to another friend that died awhile back,so it's something to remember him by. It's a '62 all aluminum cab, hood, frame, etc.and has a newer 290 with a 10 speed. He's going to drop it off when he comes up to the Walcott show.
