  1. well if that is it,it belongs to a friend of mine here in Iowa. He bought it as a cab & chassis out east somewhere,NY I think. He's just about got it done.
  2. Well thanks for looking, anyway Paul.I finally got a set of headlight bought cheap, probably just make some brackets if I can't find any.
  3. if by any chance it was Serial # N85F1002,I know where it is
  4. Finally had my buddy tear into the engine on Super Mutt, found #5 piston was scored and #6 was cracked, everything else clean and good shape,so just had him put 2 piston kits in. Guess I'll find out if I made the right decision. Sure glad to have it back home .
  5. painting that truck would be as big of a crime as welding the crack in the Liberty Bell
  6. cold day in hell before I pay anybody to sleep in my own truck, they never charged at South Bend
  7. did you get this one that was on Ebay ?
  8. Yeah,I've seen it on Emeryvilles,4000's and 4070's, H and W model Fords, White Freightliners, KW's,and Pete's but that's a first on a Mack.
  9. Anybody have any of these extra they would part with. I have lights, just need the mounts.
  10. Jim got it. I'd never seen a Mack with center point steering.
  11. Fred S. aka mackb67 had one of their wreckers,a B67,I think that was the one that was on Ebay. He's in TN,I don't remember if it sold or not.
  12. Saw this pic the other day and noticed something I don't think I've ever seen on a Mack before, though it was a fairly common spec on a lot of the other trucks of the time. Anybody else see what I'm talking about? Very sharp Western F by the way,bet someone was very proud of it.
  13. That's a pretty late one, rubber seal windshield and no vent louvres in the cab corners.
  14. Anybody now where the pink one went that sold on the auction at the Auburn,IN ATHS convention ?
  15. I'm guessing it was Paul, I just found that pic on their old website .
  16. According to what I saw on Facebook, the Evel Mack is now in Kansas . They had several posts looking for a better cab. I tried to find out what happened to the short bunk Western F they had found to cannibalize but musta been a sore subject, never got a response. I'd love to have it.
  17. That truck is amazing. Sure hope the new owners keeps it just as it is. I think it is so cool that the Smiths kept these old trucks for so long. I would never have been able to part with them .
