  1. the vin # of the truck would start out DM895 if it's the 865,which being it's a six speed its almost gotta be,not saying 100% because you never know what some people do.
  2. I'm not on many, but do know what you mean,as I had a falling out at the spin off group from the ATHS( I won't give them the satisfaction of mentioning their name) board's "leader" over a humor situation, one of them deals where it's ok for this guy to do it,but not you. I check in both ATHS and ATCA both both of those are pretty quiet anymore. Some reason can't get logged into the Brockway site anymore, but it's fairly quiet too. Just started getting on some of the Facebook Mack groups, but I still don't know how much I like that Facebook deal yet, alot of unwanted BS goes with it it seems.
  3. Shoulda looked back farther, 41chevy already posted a link to it.
  4. Vinny, Did you see the B61 s/a dump on TruckPaper.com .Search 1959 Mack B61. $4500 OBO in CT. Don't look too bad, just needs some TLC.
  5. I realize not everyone is into buying junk like Ido,but it blows my mind nobody has bought this yet. No old Mack lovers near Houston? It's even got a title!
  6. True story. About six weeks ago I loaded hogs up north going to Beardstown,IL. I got passed twice by the same big Cat powered ,long hooded red oval nitemare, with 8 in. pipes,300 " wb,chicken lites all over, driver sitting on the floor, you know the type. I still backed into the chute at the packing house 5 minutes ahead of him.
  7. That fresh "overhaul" most likely meant the slipped in new bearings.I'm with Ray,in frame it.Then you know what you have.

  20. how much for the KT's ? Condition ?
  21. it's a 9:00x24 road grader tire. The other tire is flat, & won't hold air. I need to find 4 tires for the back. I'm not too fusy about tread or if the match, just need 4 of the same size that hold air.
  22. Cellulitis, Brian.
  23. That transmission was the TRTX670,10 speed overgear Triplex,lo-lo on the aux. was toward the dash to the left,lo towards the dash to the right and hi straight down,Lo-lo was for 1st and reverse only, and you didn't split 5th.. my 2 matched '64 B53's have this transmission. They also have the 673 with rotary fuel pumps.
  24. I'm probably wrong but weren't the bigger flatheads that were badged as Magnadynes all Mack designed ?
  25. Another thing about picking up new ones I remember well is they only had enough fuel in the lead truck to get you to the nearest fuel stop, and they always had one tank shut off.
