  1. Well, got a callback, the truck was an original V8 truck, converted to six cylinder, and did come from Long Island. Says he wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. The blue one is in NC,has a Cummins,9 speed on air ride, lots of work listed done on it.It's a '82,4 ft shorter bed, about 5 k cheaper.
  2. I used to get a lot of side jobs with my other one, besides all I did with it for my own use.Right now I have enough big stuff to move it would pay for itself in 3 months.I also have this one spotted .
  3. This was a month old ad I found,I don't remember it being mentioned in here.
  4. I've been looking for one ever since my old Chevy rollback got vandalized, then stolen. I was going to put one together but that always takes me way more time than it should..really don't need one this big,but hey,it's a Superliner,it will last me forever.

  7. How did you keep it from falling off while you chained it down????
  8. nice looking Valueliner.Used to be several running around here,a handful left. The local telephone company has a really sweet single axle that came out of CA,E6-350 with a 13 speed.
  9. they got most of that stuff hid now
  10. got up to 31 here today, now it's snowing hard.
  11. If they are plumbed anything like the CH's I've had,you don't have a crossover line at the bottom of the tanks with shutoffs.under the cab is a valve/jct block, whatever the proper name is that will freeze up in very cold weather. Had it happen more than once,a little hot water and all was well, till the next time it happened.
  12. You found a Freedom in a junkyard and didn't take pics??????
  13. Does the old Hitchings B still have a V8,Dan?
  14. I just hope it's as good as the pictures show. The kid that looked it over is pretty trustworthy, too,so I've got good feelings about it. Sold off a few so had to fill those spots so the grass don't start growing. This one will get worked some I hope.
  15. I've never been around a F model with a Duplex to know for sure, but they are they same for the Triplex,Quad and also the 2 stick 6 speed
  16. Nice to visit with you today Randy.Lucked out and was only in the corn plant about an hour after I left you.

  18. how long you gonna be there and I will see if he can have it ready? I told him no big hurry.
  19. Ron,I hope it's as nice as the pics show and as it was represented by the owner. I just wish it wasn't so damn short. Anybody ever stretch an aluminum frame??? As far as the sound,I always thought they had a sound of their own.

  21. St.Louis area.Sounds like now the kid that found it for me is going to deliver it as he has to come this direction in the next month.
