  1. Got the SOB out, finally. Local hot rod shop is going to cut me a new one.
  2. Trying to get the window out of my EF so I can get a new one cut, how in the hell does it come out? I took access panel off,but damned if I can figure it out. I coulda overhauled 5 B model doors in the time I already wasted trying.
  3. R model windshield won't fit. Good luck finding one for a F model .
  4. Here's the oldest KW I know of.
  5. Got someone coming to look at it Mondayl,if it don't sell I will post more info on it.
  6. http://springfieldil.craigslist.org/hvo/5650666983.html
  7. Local electric coop's line truck Superliner hauling cement forms at a new hog building site Got my youngest daughter her 1st car,2003 Dodge Stratus. Cruiseliner unloading beside me at river terminal Somebody lost a super single. Hats off to the guy changing it,never took the rim off the trailer. Noah digging my new hat R model used to haul the sled and weights at the county fair antique tractor pull. my latest purchase, just wanted the trailer to have a cheap extra trailer for fall.had to take truck too. It needs alot of love.
  8. Aren't those the same as the B model cab mount bushings, they used them on tons of things.
  9. I'll get the records next week when I get the title, its a one owner truck. I gotta steam clean the interior before I'll be able to read the odometer. Besides running into alot of stuff, their mill drivers didn't know how to roll up windows either, and I never once saw one turn around if the wind was blowing the wrong way when loading.
  10. E7350,9 speed Fuller,4:17 Mack rears onair ride. TRuck is rough shape, been used as a site truck. Make offer.
  11. here's a pic of my '68 RS763,it also still has the old style hood. It has the Mack Quad still in it,too. It's currenty at mackdaddy's in OR waiting for a ride home.
  12. Yes,it's definitely an early RL763LST. Here's a pic of my '75 RL795 which has the hood like yours, and a pic of my '70RL763 which has the proper old style hood.. As you can see the old style hood sat higher and there is slight difference in the fenders. Here's also a pic of my '69 RL739 which has had both a newer hood and bumper, because of a wreck back in the mid'70's.
  13. Midwest Plains Capter of ATHS is havig their 12th annual truck show,on Sat. Aug.6th,Sapp Bros. Truck Stop, exit 440 off I-80.
  14. I'd also say this truck has had a newer hood put on it,fenders are wrong, plus the hood scoop,,bumper is right style for a '66 though.
  15. The Hayward built Macks used a whole different numbering system thatn the eastcoast built trucks. No matter what the truck was,it got the next number.,so it would be the 689th built Western Mack, not the 689th RL763. don't assk me why,but it's the way it was. 1688 could have been a FS715LST and 1690 could have been a RS773LST.
  16. that's the R763,this is a RL763
  17. you have the perfect combo, now, overhaul your engine and find a real driver
  18. A friend of mine still runs this '53 everyday from late March to after Thanksgiving,he gives it the winter off.
  19. Iike Matt said, those are pretty easy to find,I have severaI sets also,of aII the B modeI embIems, those survived the best. I've scored several on Ebay from firetrucks, which are mint most of the time for $25 to 35 apiece.
