  1. Should be a tag on the engine, but sure looks like a 4v E6 to me.
  2. I'm glad I'm not the only one that way.
  3. Just saw a post on Facebook, this beautiful R model is sitting at the port, awaiting shipment to Nigeria. anybody else want to throw up,be my guest.

Wait and go in March when they have the annual open house, but yes it is worth the drive.
  5. Personally,I thought it would be a helluva tractor, and I sure liked the looks of them better than the set back CH
  6. There are lots worse smells in the world than a little manure,I'd rather smell that than the chemicals and anhydrous they use.
  7. The RB never caught on big around here, mainly I think because the dealer didn't push them. I wanted to order one in '97 when I got the one and only new truck I've ever had,but they convinced me to get a CH instead. There are a few still running around here,2 dump trucks and a roll off/container truck.
  8. Theres a junction block and relay on the shift tower that's a known trouble spot on the MH's,might be there.
  9. My E6-350 really likes 1600 to 1650. It has the 2090 Mack trans. with .71 OD and 4:42 rears. That put's it about 63 mph.
  10. What is the best paint to use on something like the plastic dash, heater console, etc.? I'd really like to do something different in my '88. It has the Level 3 black upholstery, which I never really cared for, and the gray dash ,I'd love to redo it in something like the old Western Deluxe interiors with the blue diamond tucked upholstery. If I did that,I think I'd want to paint the dash blue, also.
  11. Just saw on Facebook where Andy Zary's '59 B61 is for sale. The didn't give an asking price, but said it is currently appraised at........are you guys ready for this???? $290,000.00 !!!!! Personally,I liked it a lot better first time I saw it in Overdrive 1976
  12. While you are looking, see if you can find any of the stainless inserts for those visors.
  13. I've always liked those too. Been trying to buy the local Dodge dealers old wrecker for quite awhile, but haven't convinced them to part with it yet,it has a 413 V8, & air brakes. This one here was for sale about 70 miles from me,stopped and looked it over, pretty straight, couldn't ever get ahold of the owner. It had a 549 IH V8 which I was told was factory installed.
  14. Sweet little R model.
  15. I thought you might like that one,Ron.It's on Ebay in case you don't have a copy.
  16. It's a thankless and sometimes painful job,Jake, but I've yet to find anything that I would rather haul than livestock. There used to be a guy up here that had a RD dump truck that he'd take the box off and haul cattle in his off season. It looked kinda funny with the hoist sitting there behind the cab,but I guess it worked out for him.He left the 5th wheel slide plate bolted to the frame and would just remove the top when putting the box back on.
  17. Nice truck,Rocket. Does it still have a V8 ? Did they make the sleepr cab in fiberglass, also or just the non-sleeper cabs?
  18. somebody needs to track down the Superliner from Flatbed Annie & Sweetiepie.
  19. Yep,759. They really sat up high. I really didn't realize how high until I parked my 759 & cabover Brockway side by side recently.Sounded pretty cool with both 6-71's sitting there running.
  20. A local fertilizer outfit used to have a couple old F models they made spreader trucks out of,big tires front and back, they looked awesome.
  21. Those were the ones, Terry. I talked to them a few years ago, too. I think they were asking 2500 to 3 k. About a year ago I found out they were still there,I offered $1500 each. They sold on Purple Wave, one brought $1450,the other 2 brought $1350 each. One went to a member here,I'll let him tell about it if he wants. The other 2 were bought by Truck Wholesale of Wellsville,KS,the infamous junkyard on I-35 that was in the news a few years ago. Heard one was already scrapped.
  22. Looks like a keeper. Only 220 B-815's made so it's fairly scarce. Three consecutive serial # dumps sold a couple weeks ago in KC,MO.
  23. they shoulda parked that Volvo in the handicap parking spot
  24. Just some pics I've found here & there. One of my favorite G model pics, ever Cool H-67 bull hauler F model farm tractor found this cool old ad on Ebay
