  1. Good pics,Vinny.Really nice 759,first time I've seen it. I kick myself everytime I see a pic of the yellow 760,I shouldn't have let that one get away from me.looks like there were lots of nice trucks, really like the AC.
  2. Nice truck, good catch for sure. You'd better check the frame number against the door tag, that's a pretty high number to be a '57,most likely a '59.
  3. Just wait & see, the tree huggers will be suing the truck owner for tree abuse.
  4. Somebody asked about the availability of the SS deflectors or stone guards for the Superliners. I used to get them thru the Iowa 80 catalog, but they quit carrying them. Last year,I noticed an Ebay listing for a set,buy it now for $99.95,and more than one set available. I hit the button and ordered 3 sets. The next day,I get an email from the seller telling me they were out of stock and when he went to place a new order,Bores told him they no longer made them, but they would go ahead and make the 3 sets I ordered. He told me it would take a few weeks, but I would get them and at the same price. He also said that if I ever wanted anymore to let him know. Evidently he was a big enough distributor for Bores products that he had some pull. They no longer list them on Ebay, but the name of the company is: Class One Distributing North Royalton,OH 440-230-1330 The Bores part number for them is : FD917
  5. Quite awhile back3,4,5 years ago maybe, I posted a pretty complete list of the 2 digit engine codes, that Mack started using in '62 with the introduction of the F model, and remained pretty much unaltered until '83 with the start of the MH. It had a lot of the really oddball stuff like the 555 Cummins,1160 Cat,6V53 Detroit. Is there anyway to go back that far and search? I don't know how many I could do off the top of my head anymore and it's been about that long since I've seen my old notebook from my years at the Nelson Academy of Advanced Mack Studies . One of these days I'll learn how to back stuff up on this damn thing.
  6. Welcome. Looks like you've got a good start. If you can't find anything local, let me know,I've got tons of B parts.
  7. The 864 V8 was ratedat 255 hp. I've got a few,and luckily they are good runners,I've never used them in daily service so I can't comment on reliability, but from what I've been told, the rotary fuel pump could be troublesome. Aside from that, they gotta helluva sound and are a lot of fun. my '67 R615 with the 864 and 15 speed Triplex, with 4:76 rears is a 80 mph truck.
  8. the red looks like a repaint,I don't think it's the original color
  9. There was one advertised on the Brockway site classifieds
  10. I couldn't get any pics or a listing of these parts to show.
  11. That sleeper don't look half bad. Nice job.
  12. Far as I know, they didn't get it bumped up that high until '95 when the 427 and 454 became available.
  13. I'm with Matt 2 to 2500
  14. I'm sure it's a 673. Wonder if it came out of a bus or something??
  15. I still could have come out of it,it just wouldn't have been original to the truck. It's definitely an oddball, the exhaust manifold looks like the one from a F model, where it drops straight down, but the intake is what has me scratching my head.
  16. The really early ones were ENDT678,but that was shortlived and they were called E6-350
  17. B-53 2625 built B-57 281 built B-576 26 built
  18. That's what I do too,Ken.
  19. What would have been cool is if they had offered the real R model hood on them. I just never could bring myself to fall in love with the new RD hood.
  20. I found a write up on them on Macks website, but I can't get it to copy and paste, and ain't smart enough to post a link,so maybe somebody else can. But if I read the piece right, they were built to order only,so if 50 were ordered, they built 50,if 500 were ordered, they built 500.The article was dated July,2003 so a final figure was not given.
  21. Here's some pics I found on the internet
  22. Weren't they called the R model Legend or Legacy, something like that? Most were black, all had gold striping,I've seen green and red also. They had special interior trim and 1965 to 2004 embroidered on the seats,I think.I have a brochure tucked away somewhere.
  23. Cause we had cooler stuff,Ron.
  24. would that be a butane setup on that gray one.like the Hall Scotts had? I'd like to know what they were both out of,the red one with the upside down intake manifolds has me puzzled, too.
