  1. Got the stack on today, did a little more polishing and touch up painting on the frame, added a few chrome goodies, gave the interior a good going over to get rid of the last of the body shop dust, got the right turn signal on,and wired the right fender light. That's it for now until the sleeper goes on. Parade tomorrow.
  2. Ron,was your H60 repowered before it left the factory? A friend of mine in Wisc.has one of the very few that actually left the factory with gas power and still has the original engine.
  3. I'm sure they do,Vinny.
  4. A couple of the Manders' boys came down today for a visit and to pick up some trucks I sold them. These guys are super people to deal with and have a huge inventory of used parts, trucks and rebuilders. Manders Diesel Repair in Lakeville,MN. Mostly later model stuff,R models on up.
  5. Glad to hear you got it running. By what I was told about the truck,it really shouldn't have a lot of miles on it.
  6. Brought her home tonite,I think Dad was getting tired of me taking up half his shop and I sure don't want to wear out my welcome(least not till I get my own building). Not 100% done but close to at least getting it ready to earn again. Got the half fenders on todat, and polished the front wheels, got the rest of the screws put in the marker lights and cleaned up the body shop dust off the dash.. The short stack is temporary.
  7. broken clamp on a ATAAC hose?
  8. Got the sun visor on today, and the aluminum wheels on the back. Thankfully it only got up to 95 today,my ass is dragging.
  9. I was by your truck a couple times, thought maybe I'd run into you,but never did, maybe next year. We got up there about 10:30 Wed. nite and left about 8:30 Sun. am
  10. There were a few more I thought I'd taken pics of ,but guess I missed. It was a great show as always, even better I thought with the extra day.Truck count was down some, but Iowa 80 didn't have many of there's out this year,as they've expanded the museum so most stayed in there to be looked at,so that made it kinda decieving. The weather was good, crowd was good, pork chops good as always.
  11. That Dodge cabover has been to the Vintage Power Wagon show at Fairfield,Iowa.
  12. Super Mutt lit up for the Lights at Night part of the show.. Real proud of the old girl, placed 3rd in the '87 and older Working Truck class in the Super Truck contest.
  13. Ron (b61mack),his brother Mike and nephew stopped today on the way home from Walcott to pickup an IH he bought from me. And later in the day,a new friend from Texas stopped by for the tour and managed to find a couple hood panels for his LTL. This is one of the coolest LTL's there is and not just because the A/C is ice cold. It's got a 1150 cu.in. KT Cummins under the hood, and a 7 x 4 trans. An R model adjustable steering column has been adapted to it.
  14. CAB IS SOLD!!!!!!!!!
  15. just got thru putting in the grill.
  16. Got this far by Wed afternoon, then had to quit to go to Walcott.
  17. Sorry I didn't get to run into you, Victor. But I did see your truck. Very very nice. You have one to be proud of.
  18. wow, that blows my mind,Stan wasn't that old. When I first met Stan,12 years or so ago,he was on a big health food kick.Last time we were together at Walcott a couple years ago,he'd definitely dropped that.Last time we talked on the phone, probably 5 months ago,he never mentioned being sick.Musta been something sudden, huh? That's really sad news,sStan was a helluva guy
