  5. Not a very good pic,but it's the only one I have in the computer.This is my Dad's first Mack,1972 F795ST,325 V8,5 speed.
  6. This LT and a bunch of misc. LT parts is coming to Iowa next month.Friend of mine had been looking for an LT for awhile,so I helped line him up with this one from the late Roy Collier collection in NV.
  7. Good deal, any louvred LT hoods???
  8. a couple hiding in southern IA,not mine...................................yet.
  9. My '72 FS785LT with grain box.237 Maxidyne,5 speed, homemade tag axle.Mikey did a little outlaw hauling with this before he got his CDL.Shown here with a load of corn cobs fresh of the corn sheller.
  10. '63 F609ST in Iowa 80's parts truck yard
  11. nice one,Dan.what is the story behind it?
  12. No Jake, this one here,'it's a'76 too.Cab on it's pretty solid.I bought this one for parts when I was running the brown one and originally was going to get this cab fixed and swap it onto it,but then the blue '74 came up for sale and I bought it instead. There ain't enough good metal on the old brown one anymore to make a Skoal can lid.
  13. yep,out back waiting on a facelift.Hated to quit driving it,but that's when I bought my Freedom Superliner,it had heat in the winter and air in the summer, instead of the other way around in the blue F.It was was a little easier on my back, too.
  14. My '74 F786ST,this truck sat in a machine shed for 15 years with a warped block,I bought it and put the engine out of my rusty '76 in it.Really loved driving this old truck.Ran it for 2 years '99 to 2001.
  15. no Vinny,it had spokes on the front when it was new,the !st owner put them on,I'm the 2nd owner, still have it but I took the engine out and put in my '74.
  16. My old '76 F786ST.Super nice driving and riding truck,it had an air ride cab. Cab was really rusty, though.Only drove it about 9 months
  17. I saw a UPS truck on the hook once and they had the name covered with cardboard and duct tape.
  18. Matt's right,if you wanted more than 10 speeds, you had to go with a Brownie. The Duplex with a Brownie was a pretty popular spec in the LT's and B-63's
  19. They evidently don't cut them all up,a friend of mine has a ex-UPS MH6122 4 wheel drive tractor.bought it in Colorado.Still has "Custom built for UPS" tag on the dash.
  20. if you would take 2 sets, that will make 6 sets needed,I'd sure think that would be worth making up some more.I know the last time I ordered emblems from Barry,I needed a set of B83's.The were still listed on the website, but come to find out they were sold out.Had to wait on a new batch, but he got me some.Did notice after that the price went up to $125 per set.I'd think as many B81 's that seemed to have popped up lately,he'd have no problem selling them. If he doesn't come thru, does anyone have one I could borrow?I've got a friend that had some similar emblems made up out of plastic and then painted them, they would be better than nothing.
  21. Heard back from Barry,he's going to check in on getting some, said he'd know in a couple days or so.
  22. Alot of the old school guys(me included)don't like the front brakes because they way they handle in slick conditions. They used to put front brake limiting valves on trucks,a flipper switch on the dash in most cases,so you could control them.
