  1. I don't know either,44k rears is about the biggest thing we ever see here, that's why I'm not familiar. What ratings did they have over 44k,were there both 55 and 58"s?
  2. Sorry,Vinny, didn't see a single U model, but some of the magazines were incomplete.I did find some neat articles and ads I'll post in another thread.
  3. I do have several, but all these I got online. I'll try to figure out how to post a link to where I found them.
  4. How heavy would the axle rating be if I have 10 bolt axle caps?I was always told 6 bolt caps were 44k,was tinkering with my white B81 yesterday and noticed it had 10.
  5. One of the more interesting trips I had, local guy bought a pot load of bred cows at a farm sale in north central MO.They gave me directions, had 6 bridges to cross ranging from 10 to 17 ton weight limit.I got loaded and asked if there was a better way back to civilization,as I was going to be around 83k,"yeah,there's another way ot but there's some pretty small bridges to cross".
  6. Restored with quality used parts from "Mike's Antique Mack Truck Parts"
  7. [ Vlad,this wasn't in Overdrive,,just a pic I found on the net,but I thought of you when I saw it.
  8. It would have to be a '75,as that's when production of the Western F ceased. That is a decent looking cab on the old girl.Wonder if the yellow motor is stock or a transplant?Didn't happen to get the VIN did you?
  9. Here's some more sharp trucks. These guys new how to dress up a truck with taste.
  10. This one is still around and still looks this good. This one was purchased and restored by Harry M. former owner of Jevic Transportation. It's now a dark blue single axle.
