  1. I went back aways and looked,it musta been buried in another post, but I'm certain it was in here I saw it,hardly anybody posts Mack stuff on ATHS ,and it wasn't on ATCAand these are the only places I check often, besides Brockway and it wasn't there.
  2. Somebody had it posted in here I think.I know I went and looked at the sale bill,no pic of the B81 and only a meager description of it.From the looks of it there shoulda been a huge pic of it at the top of the sale bill
  3. I'll tell you one thing right now, your truck as it sits right now looks 100 times better than Sal C's.
  4. Hey Ron, Did you ever see this??
  5. Here's a couple pics of the cab backs, very minimal rust at the bottom, not all rusted out& beat down at the cab mount area.
  6. Al. I've got a couple old DM690 hoods down at my other farm, next time I'm down there I'll look and see if the emblems are still there. There was just one on Ebay a couple weeks ago.
  7. was it a factory daycab?
  8. don't take the horns off the roof, please, you have way too nice of a truck to do something that damn Peterbilt to it.You can still put the extra lights on without taking them off if you want, but I always thought 5 was plenty anyway.
  9. no,got them took care of quite awhile back, but thanks for the offer.
  10. I'll let you know when I get them done.Terry T found the hood for me in a junkyard in IN.The decals are real nice on it so should be able to copy them easily.
  11. Well I ain't happy with it,I don't know if it didn't heal right or if I keep it from completely healing, but it's not 100% by far, maybe it never will be.Somedays are better than others. My arm wrestling days are definately over.
  12. As with everything, work interferes, but I've been slowly gathering up stuff to start working on it.Had a guy lined up to paint it,but that fizzled out.Got an extra hood that still had the Liberty decals so I could get them copied, that was a major hurdle. That and finding the right sized Double Eagle sleeper to match the original, got that too,I'll get it done someday.
  13. the T2050 and T2060 are .60 overdrive,the T2070 might be too.
  14. good save, that your first Freedom?
  15. putting an E9 in a Western Star would be like breeding a prize race horse to "My Lil' Pony"
  16. Yes it could be earlier,F models are hard to guess because of the few changes were made in them.I think the deep bumper first appeared in '75,I think.
  17. That is a F model,most likely a 1978 to 1981 F786ST
  18. A B47,don't see those everyday.
  19. Any idea what it costs for flea market space? I've been thinking very seriously about loading up a van trailer and coming out this year.Only way I'm goig to be able to swing it is if I make it a paying trip.
  20. If I remember right, that truck was sold on Ebay a few years ago,it was in Florida at that time.Don't remember what it brought.
  21. Looks like a fairly early R767 if all is original. What year did the NTC-350 come out?'72 or '73?
  22. I don't remember the model number, only ever seen one in person, but it was a 5 speed main box with reverse, and it had a second stick that was only shifted in 5th gear,it was for overdrive. There was another with the same set up only the 2nd stick was for use with 1st and reverse only,it predated the more common version of the 2 stick 6 speeds,I've seen 2 of these in person.
  23. I remember a story about him in "Bulldog" shortly after he bought his new Mack.
