  1. All 3 hp ratings were available in the Magnums,400,450 and 500.
  2. Name: Junkyard Dog Date Added: Owner: Superdog Superdog
  3. My buddy finally got the Superliner I bought from Rick Harper picked up. Needs alot of loving, but I'm pretty happy with it.I was hoping to get some pics with his new Rawhide still hooked to it,but he'd already unhooked when I went to look it over. He's going to drop it off at another buddy's place,he's going to try and get it running for me.He's a good Cummins man ,hopefully it won't take much.
  4. I've often asked why are there any Peterbilts, period!!!
  5. some were, especially if the had a hog deck for the belly.Don't see too many deck trailers anymore,53' 102" wide trailers pretty much eliminated the need for it
  6. Al,didn't Mike L. end up with an ex-Celli A model?? I also found a couple hard pics of the Celli B753 after Jack painted it black, got a whole bunch to get scanned in whenever I can get some help, that's beyond my skill level.
  7. Anybody know who's sharp EGU I just saw starring in a new Weinhard's beer commercial ?
  8. I hate to doubt the museum, but as I said when that sheet was first posted, there were a whole lot more 719's built than 34.If there were only 34 ENDT864's made, what did the other 719's have for engines?????
  9. I can't either but it looks just like the one on my '67 Brockway,it's a 600 Holmes.Only difference is mine has extendable booms.
  10. Damn that's a clean, sharp old truck, looks straight as a string.only thing I'd do is swap the emblems on the hood back to the right spots.
  11. I'm with you,Ron.I'm looking right at a spec sheet for a R719 right now and it says ENDT864.
  12. I'm going to say the frame number is correct, looks way more like an LF than a LM.Most LM's were heavy spec,24" rubber and offset cabs and I've never seen a LM sleeper cab..What are the complete numbers you found??
  13. Feb '80 was always one of my all time favorites for some reason
  14. I wonder if any actual production trucks had the air cleaner mounted there behind the RF wheel? Those canisters wouldn't last long today with the crap they put on the roads.
  15. those look like military tandems to me,bet they were swapped in
  16. gotta remember it was a wrecker, they don't give those set ups away
  17. Tom, Here's 3 more of mine I've picked up within the last year or so. 1959 B61ST26833,standard cab 1960 B61T28453,sleeper cab 1965 B81SX3515,standard cab
  18. Just finished digging out the driveway, damn wind has really picked up,probably be drifted back in by AM. Only got stuck once, pretty happy with my new skidloader, just need to close it up a little for days like this, damn near froze my ass off.
  19. Had to do some more digging to find this,I picked this '58 H-67 up at Jerry's after I unloaded his trucks.I bought it on ebay near Joliet, and he picked it up for me and kept it at his place.
  20. That's good to know,I'll have to check some of my L models to see if it's stamped there too.Only place I've ever looked on those has been at the rear.I always thought that it was a poor place to stamp the number as frame modifcations often covered or removed the number.
  21. OK,I didn't know the same guy bought both trucks from Bruce & Jerry.I know they didn't have the Hedrickson very long.Jerry redid the 400,it ran good but was was pretty rough,it had been turned into a dump truck. He sold it shortly after he got his yellow KW.
  22. There should be a serial # tag inside the passenger door on the seat base,if this is missing, the number is also stamped on the frame, right side within the back 18 inches or so of the frame rail.As long as the frame hasn't been chopped off of the 5th wheel isn't covering it up,that's where to look.I have seen it stamped on the left side in the same location on some of the older L's,also. it should read something like LJT2D1234,or LJSW1234. Good luck and keep us posted.
