  5. the number was stamped on the frame behind the rear spring hanger,up towards the top of the rail, most of the time on the right side, but have seen it on the left, too. This was a very bad spot as alot of times the frame was shortened or lengthened and the number was lost,or covered up.later in the '50's they started stamping the frames near the front axle.

  19. Yes I am.Started back just before Christmas. Wasn't able to locate a replacement truck that suited Jr. so he's driving my big blue Superliner and I bought a day cab Superliner locally and I'm running it until we find something he likes. 1988 RW613,E6-350,T2090,black level 3 interior,4:42 Mack rears on Neway air ride,212" w.b.,346,000 one owner miles.
  20. SF-3 is a Stromberg #,and they are a very pricy carb to work on.My EF has that same carb and I needed a new float for it,only one I could find was like $700,just for the float.

  22. which one did you end up with,Dan??
  23. tell him to give it a new paint job and you'll give him 10k.Looks clean and solid as a rock.Worst part about it though is the 24" rubber ,very expensive and hard to find when you need to replace it.
